I remember seeing this on a dutch tv game show before dreamcast was even released. I knew then and there that I wanted a dreamcast and got one at launch. shenmue is the greatest game of all time

Everyone should buy the Dreamcast VGA box,the Dreamcast games look miles way better.

The Dreamcast could actually do HD graphics,You just need the VGA box (sold seperately) and it unlocks the secret proper HD resolution scan,works with all Dreamcast games,(especially well with NTSC JAP & USA versions of Dreamcast games),So the Dreamcast was even more ahead of Its time than some people realize.

This is one of my all time favorite game trailers. The music and the visuals just seem so perfect together.

I still have both the US and JP version of this game.....sadly, never finished either version.

Great video. This also appeared on the PC movie disc that came with the first issue of the Official Dreamcast Magazine. I imagine they're probably the same discs save the packaging.

it's amazing how fast they added to the added details to the characters and textures. That doesn't look like Lan Di at all. He and Ren look like they're in transition from their Saturn to Dreamcast models. Amazing how far they went in such little time.

yeah i dont know what the fuck sega was thinking, that was mostly all Shenmue 2 footage. I know that they were completed right after another but its still bullshit and why didnt they start atleast a beta on shenmue 3 right after 2 like they did with 1? Sega is on serious bullshit

I don't think they could of been since the first Shenmue game came out in December 1999 for Japan. If this trailer was really finished in July that means they only had four months to change their mind. That's what's the confusing part. There's not enough info to know what they were thinking.
