I have never rated Simon le Bon's vocals. To me they just don't compare to Tony Hadley's. There is only one duran song that I will grudgingly say I like and that is the reflex. Sorry but for me it's Spandau all the way!

How the hell can you compare Spandau ballet with Duran Duran.? You say Duran have stood the test of time...how many band changes have there been during that time? Ok Spandau Ballet split up but now they are back together with ALL the original members.Ok Duran won more awards, but Spandau have not been together for 19 years. @LincsLasswithClass spandau ballet are nothing like the calibre of duran duran? thats always been the case. infact, tony hadley said himself that duran duran were the real band and they (spandau) were nothing in comparison. duran duran have hunderds of great tracks and spandau, much as i respect them and big tony, are a galaxy away from the talent and artistic vision duran duran have. spandau are legends - duran duran are immortals.

@1968AndyW - Don't get me wrong spandau were a very good band and this is one of my favourites, now let's compare bands, Duran have stood the test of time lasting from 1978 to present, selling over 100 million albums, nominated for 14 awards and winning 9, Spandau 1979 to 1990, 2009 to present ( 19 years not talking to each other ) nominated for 2 awards, winning 2 awards, no mention of how many albums they sold - source wiki, and Duran have been inducted into the hall of fame - need I say more
