    I am an international student, So, English is my second language. I'm fluent, but I always have this fear that I may not understand the interviewer clearly, and I have to ask her to repeat...what do you suggest for this situation? Many thanks

  • If you are truly fluent, you won't have to ask the interviewer to repeat. Asking to repeat the question can be an indicator to the interviewer that you may not be truly fluent. Do it if you have to do so to clearly understand the question, but if you have to do it, ask it in a way that rephrases to show understanding, rather than asking for a verbatim repeat.
