I would like to know who the organist is, too. Excellent performance. Actually, I'm wondering if it's Chelsea Chen - check out some other videos of Chelsea, and see if you notice similarities.
@Tritimium I don't know about that one, it doesn't exactly look like her way of playing she tends to have a bit more body movement usually and It really didn't look like her when she bowed, that isn't her style either.
A great dress - I think she hides elastic bungee cords under it to help her return to center after some of those ridiculous pedal leaps. (Ive got short legs)
I think this piece is often lost to cloudy registration....Less is more here...why else bother to learn all that scampering around if its just going to get lost in the muck. Theres alot of good stuff in those figures...and if you go too fast you also loose them (in my opinion)
There was no real dynamic change in this performance. I have to say that the performance was very good - solid and powerful. You need to be very brave to play this piece. Try to include some softer registrations on the swell with no reeds in the middle section and then close the box. Then start up again. Otherwise, a brilliant performance (don't forget to use the chamades at the end!) Well done!
Whenever I read some expert posting performance critique I always check their channel pages. Most often there is nothing of their own work there to "enlighten" us with. In this case the lone video if find explains it all. Thanks.

one wonders which is the more pertinent attraction here - - the organ playing or the white pleated dress...? the organist plays as well as the dress remains in perfect place. great duo.

A few slips here and there but not bad at all! Be careful though since with such big registration the slips are quite apparent!
