This was truly great work. I plan on never doing crack after watching this video. You should do commercials if your not already doing them. Looking forward to more of your videos.
hey! thank you for your comment/compliment. it is sincerely appreciated! yes, truly my very first one, both music and video. BUT: you don't know how many (for me, fun) hours that went into it. so, thanks again. thanks also to apple and imovie and garage band!!
Excellent production work. The only thing I found distracting was the dancing: the full body shots (LOVED the face and the nips). I wish I could say why. I don't know if its because the dancing and the living room setting are just too familiar or too "real life" compared to the ambience otherwise evoked? I would have preferred to see you, I don't know, maybe just spinning on a typist chair with knees under the chin or something. tell me if I am missing something. But hey, well done!
Looks like a'lot of creativity and some time went into this short. This is the kind of work that internet media ,like youtube, should be used for!!! Thanks for this one.
well, ok, soooo... im an old guy (almost 55) and i have been a devoted fan of Lauire Anderson for eons. i honestly love music (videos) that makes me pay attention - even if i have to watch them over a few times... which i have done with your vid. i must say that i appreciate the talent and work that you put in this presentation. it is nice when art can span across various ages. what i do not understand is the rating of only 4 1/2 stars!
hey, thank you... finally somebody's got it it the way i meant it to be (unlike the writer, DonJuanDeMarco2) below. really appreciate your comments and if you were to send it to all of your Laurie-loving pals, that would be great!
Massenet wrote an opera called "Les Cid" it features an aria "Oh Souverain!!Oh Juge!! Oh Pere!!" which the opening line derives from. I think that is the only real link.
i just wanted to let u know that i have posted a slightly reworked version today. i also tried to enhance the sound a little bit more to my liking, but my success in that area was minimal. but perhaps you wanted to take a look anyway.
thanks again for your comments yesterday, i really appreciate it.
thanks
ps: i like that name, jtron. what does it stand for?
This is an excellent Art piece. Laurie is such a fine artist , and one that I am sure was difficult to remix (due to her various tempos, timing, and concepts) IT totally captures 9/11 concept and also the chaos of the individual psyche (dancing figure) VERY FINE WORK EYE SHOT PIX. I will look up more of your stuff good luck!

no see, you can be creative WITHOUT drugs, it just require a free thinking open mind. what do you think people did before the 60s? huh? come on man, grow up in the head a little. you think everyone who ever wrote classical music or literature was stoned? on what? lotus flowers? sheesh gimme a break dude.
oh yes, most definitely before the 60's drugs existed and were used as marketing tools even. (coca-cola anyone?) the 60's just saw them go semi-mainstream. you may be right about this should be labeled a remix. however i dont find anything wrong with it also showing up in searches for the original song. just because its good, you know, not some crappy remix.
Grrrreat work!! Love it. Thank you!!

i don't get it. What is it supposed to be? i know it's a cover/mix (sort of)of Laurie Anderson's "O Superman". But it just doesn't compute.

Lol its funny because im actually all for NOT using drugs for anything in general.
But you can ask any drug user, this video is right up their alley, hence my original comment.
Btw EyeShotPix, where are the strings taken from ?
