I remember way back when I heard this band broke up. I was like mad-devastated, a good Christian band that wasn't all emo and sounded good at that time was rare. This song came out in like 2004 and it stills sounds like something that came out this year. Man I wish they were still together.

The point of the video is from a Christian point of view, ergo Beloved being a Christian band. It in the video / lyrics it pretty much explains itself:

It takes more than a load of laundry to wash yourself clean of this world, metaphorically speaking of course. You need to fully submerge yourself in God's Grace and forgiveness in order to ride yourself of the grime of this world.

Just take a look at how sad the laundry people are and the guy who falls in the pool. He's tired of the normal.

Well first, he's insulting your understanding of music by saying you like rap, it's an analogy.(look that word up, you probably don't know it) Second, music isn't just about hearing, it's about LISTENING. A writer of songs doesn't make music just to get popular and make money, they do it so everyone finds the meaning behind their music. If you only listen to music to enjoy it and not worrying about the meaning, you're not giving that song all it deserves.

There is a fine line between spreading the word of god or forcing the word of god.

Me and my brother have religios debates all the time. but the way we do it never leads to fighting or anger becouse it goes like this, He states his fact, then i state my fact then we both look at those two facts and with an open mind decide which one of the 2 is true. I don't mind getting a letter saying hey come to our church every week or 2. but when i get 3 letters a week then it becomes forcing you see.
