The 3DS is very similar to the PSP. Believe it or not it is. The 3DS has a better CPU and GPU, but they have a very similar average clock. As the 3DS has a 400MHZ something the PSP has a 333MHZ setting which is amazing because a 333mhz cpu is better than a ps2 but the PSP has a weaker version of the ps2 GPU. Still I think the PSP has better games like KHBBS of FFD. But still, I have no regards against the 3DS it's a great console and IMO, graphics mean nothing at all.

The 3ds is more powerful than the psp. Hell, it's more powerful than a Wii. The problem is most of the games you showed were not utilizing the true power of the 3DS. For example, if you compare Dead or Alive Dimensions, Tekken 3D Prime Edition and/or Resident Evil:Revelations to any psp games, the 3DS wins hands down. Especially with RE:Revelations.

The thing people never think about: Art Direction. The thing that gives each game their own FEEL. Animal Crossing look great because of the way it's directed. Ocarina of Time 3D looks beautiful. Just like God of War needs it's own gritty realistic look. The game just wouldn't feel right with the same style as My Little Pony.
People are always talking about graphics, but no one realizes that Graphics are there to support the game and make it look like the way developers intended it to be.

@blbeau But you said name one thing the 3DS has that the PSVita can't beat. The 3DS and Vita "match" in every other way. Both have cameras (front and back), both have updated graphics from the past system, both go online, both have touchscreens; so the only other area is "Bringing Something New To The Table." And in that respect, the PSVita has a second analog stick, but the 3DS is getting another thanks to Monster Hunter. And the 3DS has 3D. Not too impressive, but the Vita can't match it.

@sherimae1324 I never denied that Sony had kickass exclusives (Infamous, God of War, etc.), I was just pointing out that Ocarina of Time was IGN's first perfect ten...and it came before the others. (off topic) I AM IN NO WAY DISSING THE PSVITA. I'M JUST SCARED FOR IT BECAUSE IT COMES OUT IN THE END OF MARCH/APRIL. It boasts coming out with 25+ games, which would BEST the 3DS's launch lineup, but the 3DS will have 40+ games by then. Unlike other fanboys, I hate to see systems fail...

@sherimae1324 True... The 3DS just came out in Spring and the PSVita doesn't come out until March 2012. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. Who knows? Maybe the 3DS will be Nintendo's final system. Or maybe the Vita will end Sony's attempts at a handheld console. Only time will tell.

The 3ds is more powerful than the psp. Hell, it's more powerful than a Wii. The problem is most of the games you showed were not utilizing the true power of the 3DS. For example, if you compare Dead or Alive Dimensions, Tekken 3D Prime Edition and/or Resident Evil:Revelations to any psp games, the 3DS wins hands down. Especially with RE:Revelations.
Also, I don't even use the 3D on my 3ds

@TheEliteF0X The 3DS has two CPU so, yeah, it's more powerful, and where did you take that of the FPS? that depends of the game, Ocarina of Time 3D runs at 60 FPS even in 3d while Dead or Alive: Dimensions runs at 30 when in 3D

So it get's me annoyed when people say one of them sucks, cause they both have their advantages and disadvantages. I will admit though, I'm a bit mad at nintendo for the analog stick thing. They should've put that in from the start. They'll probably come out with a redesign soon with a built in second stick, and I already bought the 3ds the day it came out.

So hold onto your pokemon and zelda because they don't have leg to stand on compared to record breaking games like uncharted (naughty isn't actually developing the vita version so i might not be as good however)

The thing people never think about: Art Direction. The thing that gives each game their own FEEL. Animal Crossing look great because of the way it's directed. Ocarina of Time 3D looks beautiful. Just like God of War needs it's own gritty realistic look. The game just wouldn't feel right with the same style as My Little Pony.
People are always talking about graphics, but no one realizes that Graphics are there to support the game and make it look like the way developers intended it to be.
