Please don't judge this hardware by Adobe's Flash crap. This is an Ubuntu Linux running on fairly capable ARM hardware. I bet you could do a fair bit if you could get root and install some Debian software. Get rid of that stupid desktop for a start and install XFCE. For someone like me who already does everything in Linux, this could almost be a small laptop. The RAM is limited though, and driver support could be a real problem.

Just picked up this phone today. Decided not to be ridiculous and pay the extra $500 for a non-computer. However Hopefully with this device and an iPad i should be good to go for traveling, home, and anywhere in between. I plan on using it for a bit and then seeing if the dock will make my experience better. I just can't think of a reason to ever purchase it. (If it were cheaper I most definitely would have picked it up today with the phone)

Does the phone run linux or is it run on the dock? I heard that the laptop dock contains a linux computer and it does not run on the phone.
