  • thank you for taking the time to make this instructional video on CW.

  • Черт, жалко, что мне медведь на ухо наступил. Отличное видео! Посмотрю еще много много раз, может быть, чего-то и запомню. Спасибо.

  • //:-)

  • Well, this is a good job, thank you!

  • so this is not done by an American, i guess, since they pronounced Z as zed and not zee.

  • @mosienko1983 -> lots of Americans use "Zed" as the letter "Z:. I myself think it's incorrect. I personally use "Zulu"

  • This is pretty badass.

  • wow, this actually makes it a bit easier to remember.

  • a is wrong its alpha not alfa by the way im not a hater im just making a helpful comment on how 2 improve

  • @mrminecraft683 In spanish it´s written alfa.

  • Thank you buddy~~i gonna have the test soon~~~i will listen it everyday

  • So if i wanted to "Blink" my friend a message all I would have to do is Close my eyes for the '---' and blink and open faster with the "." ?

  • lololol. I wish I could "learn" morse code this way, 30 years ago

    cool

    de la5rt

  • LOL I tap morse code to cheat on tests!

  • Toll Alter, ich war Funker in Oldenburg Oldenburg. 1+

  • Nice! The song helps u remember

  • This was, and still is, the ORIGINAL "text messaging". The cool part? You don't even need a device to send or receive this. American prisoners of war have even

BLINKED their eyelids to send messages without their captors being aware of

what was happening. Think of what avenues that could open up...

  • @watevasl hello this is awesome

  • @StopSocialismUSA привет, это удивительно. 73! from Russia

  • Thanks for the video. When I was trying to learn morse code, I had difficulty. I found this sweet app on the android market that helps a ton. It's called Morse Code Trainer and its free to use forever. I recommend it to anyone trying to learn.

  • u can do this taping on the wall right?

  • @1221kary No, you can't tap morse code on a wall. You're thinking of tap code, which is something else.

  • @scientivore (3,1)(3,4)(3,1)

  • you *could* have done more with the outro, fading out maybe?

    AFLAAAC!

  • Awesome song! I've been learning Code with computer programme. --.. --- -

  • Amazing! this is really cool im learning morse code to comunicate with my friends ar school pretty usefull

  • Nokia's original text message alert, was SMS in Morse code

  • are those military nicknames for letters they seem familiar

  • @kcired23 they are NATO's letters, In using spoken (your voice in a microphone and not morse code) ham radio, it can be hard to hear a call sign (letter, letter, number, letter, letter.) as it is written so we use words. It is kinda like saying, "D as in dog" but we leave out the "D as in" part. If the person on the receiving end has to much static with you just saying the letters for your call sign, then you go to NATO's alphabet, and if that doesn't work, you switch to morse code.hopethishelps

  • @StopSocialismUSA thanx btw where does ur screen name come from

  • @kcired23 My distaste for socialism.

  • thank's for the lesson ! nice ! 73

  • That was a little addicting...

  • fantastic thank you very much

  • great lesson

  • Love the song. I'll have to bookmark this.

I always try to think of the characters as the sounds instead of the appearance. For example I never refer to Charlie as "dash-dot-dash-dot" or -.-., but always "dahdidahdit" 'cuz that's what it sounds like. I remember Quebec as "evil empire", It sounds like the Star Wars theme. Dah-dah-di-dah

  • You're a genius, thank you...=)

  • I think Sierra makes King's Quest and YDKJ games.

  • Thanks, that's a really neat idea for learning Cw. Props on the username, too ;)

  • A very clever idea for learning morse. I remember the letters by imagining the dots and dashes as part of the corresponding letter - with the exception of 'V', which I remember as Beethovens 5th Symphony - DA DA DA DAAAAH. 5 of course is V in Roman numerals.

  • this song is brilliant to learn the morse code alphabet

    congragulations from belgium !

  • Excellent!

  • Brilliant. Think its faster to just memorise the alphabet though. Took me 30 minutes.

  • @danielhje I agree. Same happened to me!! – • – –/ – – –/ – • – –//
