while parts are most likely improvised they clearly had to know what they were doing ahead of time as this is a duet and there are parts where they are playing exactly in sync with each other. and i was able to get a hold of a transcription of this arrangement if you're interested

Well it isn't all on the spur of the moment, they commonly have a chord progression which both of them follow there for you can have a duet flair, but still be in key.

But if you said you have a transcription, i am indeed interested.

they have sheet music for this and they did arrange it, and there are Mi~~nor improv that just naturally happened while playin, but yeah they followed wat was arranged, mostly.

no way. that's way to complicated to be improv.. how would you know it's improv? i dont think it is.. they're pianists. they have to rehearse for that concert. they don't go up there and improvise..

they're pianists EXACTLY...thats why they hav the skill to go up and improvise dude..obviously they've rehearsed it slightly but its improv style neway...chords and melody within the chords ...still an element of improv dude~

even though they're professionals, there are some things that can't be done improvised the spot like playing piano. i've never seen it done before.. at least not this cool.

Not really, Im a jazz trumpet player, and we still have rehersals, but come concert time, we make up a solo. so I think its part improv.
