I figure that you can't (unless by accident), because you need both parts just to charge them simultaneously (each has its own battery, but 1 charger comes in the package).

Example, you're on a call with a friend and they ask you, "hey can you forward me Edward's number, I had to switch my phone and lost it." So, you use the other part of it to look up the number, without having to take the phone off your ear and look up the number. :)

Other reasons, to search on google maps for where's the person you're speaking with that you have to meet, etc. Many applications exist for the power user

I think it's quite a different idea for a cell phone, in a good way of course; I also like the fact that it can act as a remote. However, it's just too complicated. Why would you be so far away from your screen that you needed to use a remote anyways? Though, I still am going to fall over and die the day docomo becomes available in the US- they are literally AMAZING phones. :)

... when u r on the phone u don´t use the buttons.. cause that is the phone side... the other side has a touch screen... u don´t need both hands for that.. I don´t think u would be standing or walking and talking on the phone while using the other part.. unless u were taking pics while talking. Think it is more thought of as being used on the train etc. when u sit, talk on the phone with the touch screen in your lap... maybe looking at your schedule. e.g. "are you free 20th. to be fair. iPhone is a very good phone and I use one myself but u gotta admit jap technology is at a different level. u wont understand unless u've been to japan. they've been using phones as credit cards and access for transportations for years.
