I love this song; thanks for uploading. I saw British Lions supporting AC/DC at Cambridge Corn Exchange (we were there for the Lions as big Mott fans). We met Overand Watts and Ray Majors in a Chinese takeaway after the gig and I recall Overend asking for forks to which I quiped ahh! Fork Talking Man; he looked at me like I was an Alien :-)
there was definetly a band still there after Ian and Nigel were gone, the problem was they forgot how much music was fun , sidetracked with the quest for commercial suckcess,it burned them out ,this was one of their best tracks...Kinda still in the Mott The Hoople vein , especially the end..
Joe Anthony put many excellent bands on the road to success!! Rush,Triumph,Moxy,Legs Diamond,Riot,April Wine,Budgie......Need I Say More??? yeah,ok,Judas Priest w/ Victim of Changes!!!! R.I.P Big daddy ,you rocked us all.... PURO SAN ANTO !!!! Chris Jewett S.A. , TX.
I originally heard this track on station KSAN in San Francisco during the peak of "Free form" FM radio; when the talent picked the music. This one wowed me so much I had to call the station before it was over to get the name of it.
I'm from SA and it used to get quite a bit of airplay on the old SA rock stations, back when they broke ground with the latest rock. I went right out and bought the album and still have it in mint condition. An obscure rock classic song! Thanks for posting!
I heard this song before, but when it was over they never mentioned the name of the band.I heard of The British Lions, ithought they were a great band . Who is in this band,is there anyone from Mott?
The hard rock station in San Antonio, KMAC-KISS, used to play this all the time in the '70s--I haven't heard it in years. Many thanks, choccystarfish1, for posting this great tune.

I could give a crap about all the "music" we have today. This band is awesome. I am so glad I discovered them.
