I was THERE on that cold October Sunday in 1978. It being the first race at the new circuit, security hadn't finished their surveillance, and you could seemingly watch the race from anywhere (at least on Friday and Saturday). How about taking pictures with one foot on the concrete wall beside the track, with a car doing 120 MPH feet from you? And near the end of the race, someone behind you and to the right in the stands shouting "Jarier's in the pits!". A moment you don't ever forget.
