  • Hi I recently bought a great serial LCD with touch controller called SMARTGPU from vizic technologies, and it's just 3 wire interface, could be used as shield or on a standard breadboard, it helps you to reduce all the wiring problems and all the use of pins of your main microcontroller! check my video response!

  • Kari byron?

  • Arduino is not a controller. It's some atmega.

  • arduino ;3

  • Nice! Which controller is that?

  • Is there a way to make my own video player?

  • the htc g1 android phones use this screen

  • nice intresting video guy, cool, are these boards and sceens expensive ?.

    thanks.

    thom.

  • Does anyone know where I can get an LCD module like this one? I've been looking for one for a project of my own but I can't find one. I could try Alibaba or something else but I need to buy in mass quantities and I don't want to do that.

    Thanks.

  • @shaunmc3433 it can be bought in China for hobby purpose. how many do you need? contact me by noksender@yahoo.com

  • nice work , can that display stream vids also ?

  • There is a delay when the screen is showing another picture. I think that this will answer you're question cacilho. I think that a faster controller or program would be able to show video's. The screen does not seem to have any problems changing the color of pixels quickly.

  • vids are a lot of photos, what can display image can display photo :S

maybe not directly from a yellow cable if what you mean, but with the right program it can do anything :S

  • nice girl. your GF? hehe

  • That's a pretty hi-res screen. How much did you pay for it? Where did you buy it?

  • It may be, but if it is 176x208 you can't recognize it on youtube ...

  • how did you make this it is so awsome e.g what screen and what board and cables plz let me know

thx and keep up th awsome work

  • The board looks like the "Arduino Duemilanove".

It should be based on a ATmega328.

With 14 digital I/O-ports (6 can be used as PWM), 6 analog Inputs, 16Mhz Ozzillator, USB Port and a ISP port.
