  • Wow, excellent performance!! Exciting playing. You also totally nail those octaves at the end of the 1st movement.

  • its much more than 'fingers'

    bravo, George!!!!

  • i love your expressions, it says a lot about feeling for the song. and expressing through the way u play it. awesome!

  • There is a dazzling arrangement of all the movements of this piece for piano and orchestra by Franz Liszt. As a matter of fact, this was one of Liszt's favourite pieces and he loved to perform it. Liszt did Schubert a great favour when he arranged it because Schubert never wrote any piano concerti!! Perhaps, had Schubert lived past the age of 31, he would have composed some concerti!! This is great performance of his most ambitious work - congratulations

  • Wow!

  • George really poured everything in this Walnut School recital with genuinely BRILLIANT performances. BRAVO !!!!!! and CONGRATULATIONS !!!!

  • I certainly can not say "you will become a great pianist" because you already are.

  • hey dude, Liberachi called.....he wants his fingers back

  • beautiful

  • The musical maturity of your performance is simply unbelievable, not to mention your fiendish techniques. Think of each performance as a magical display and shower your audience wth awe and excitement. Your future is going to be phenomenal. By the way, why didn't you post your performance of the Rachmaninoff 2nd piano concerto as I would love to hear it desperately. Bravo & keep up the good work.

  • Prodigy... wished for this talent... but situations did not permit :-) hahayy

  • He's already a better performer then Schubert if you get what I mean.

  • George, my hairs stood on end from head to toe right before the ending! and I screamed OUT LOUD, BRAVO!!!!!!!! I hope my neighbors did not hear me! :)

  • George: So you finally got contact lenses? By the way, you look GREAT like this!

  • The Fabulous GEORGE LI playing the delightful Schubert "Wanderer Fantasy" with such verve, sensitivity and soulful excitement! :) What a spectacular performance! I am out of breath with excitement!

  • You play just like my mother (she's a concert pianist). You use the same type of phrasing and play with the same kind of feeling for the music as she does. Bravo. Beautifully done.

  • Your music is beautiful.

And when I see Steinway & Son, it makes me dream !

  • Brilliant. Can I have your fingers?

  • @MartMart you would need his brain :D

  • Bravo...

  • Spectacular performance, George!

  • refreshing to hear something like this for once :-)

  • this is amazing, but as I also am asian, when you are good at an instrument, 90% of the time your mother or father will say something like "Why not better?" but there's always that 10% that roots you on. Great job George. :)

  • @DRCxGFX I agree, but you missed out the percentage of those kids who's parents couldn't give a monkeys what their kids do :-)

  • excellent George

  • Wonderful, George.

  • Wonderful muzik! Congratulations! Margaret******************

  • This is incredible. All from memory. And some very extensive modulations.

  • George you learn extremely quickly to have all these pieces ready for performance.

  • Bravo. I really envy your range of music you perform. How long does it take you to learn a piece like this?

  • @Nightyyou ----- I learned this one month before my performance.

  • @Pianoloverok Wow, that´s awesome. And it shows your talent. Great work !!!

  • @Nightyyou WOW

  • @Pianoloverok

    What happened to your glasses?

  • @Pianoloverok how many songs have a you written?

  • @Pianoloverok George, you simply amaze me beyond words. This was such a POWERFUL performance, full of lyricism and beautiful phrasing that can only come from deep within your heart. As I told you on Facebook, your performance brought me to tears of joy. So again I thank you, George, for the privilege of being in the same universe as you. I can't wait for your return to Miami:) (Enrique Sanchez - Facebook)

  • @Pianoloverok HOW NICE! Thank you for answering comments, you are really a nice person :)

  • @Pianoloverok lol one month?? also to learn it by heart!? :O

  • @Pianoloverok Oh my days!!

  • @Nightyyou Step one get any kind of piano.. step 2 get a proffesional piano learner (or close to it) step three after one year you should be as good as this kid (one exeption he still has 30 more iq then you) :D

  • @Bjo15 Haha, that 30 IQ statement is true, probably even more. And I tried piano lessons, but I don´t have talent at all. I would never be able to play like him in one year..... or in my life time. Thanks for your reply :-)

  • @Nightyyou well some people are not really made for playing the piano because of motoric skills memory and even well having less number of fingers .. but hey ! try learning the guitar instead !! i know a guy who can play this piece on the guitar ... (HES A MADMAN)

  • You are an extraordinary pianist and my ... favorite !! This Schubert's work is marvellous beetween your hands. Thank you.

  • I will content myself with echoing all the previous comments. Magnificent, George!

  • Pure and genuin virtuosism.Standing ovation!

  • Hi - One thing to say; Love it! :) ThU

    Thomas

  • George, congratulations. I played this work many years ago in my recital. You have certainly transcended the limits of virtuosity here. What a wonderful, contrasting and plaintive "Adagio" in the 1st movement. I enjoyed the second movement in which you acquitted yourself as a balanced artist.

The challenging last movement "Allegro" you played with dash, abandon and bravura surviving impressively. I will continue to pray, and you be encouraged with your prophetic destiny.

  • Speechless .... an incredible performance George! Incredible!

  • god you are fantastic

  • Carried with dignity and passion. Fantastic all around.

  • Wow...Apparently George, you're made entirely of awesome! That was absolutely astounding. (I really hate to sound crass but:) You are such a bad-ass :)

  • and also may I say you are looking quite smart with your new contacts! Very grown up!

  • Now I am completely impressed and absolutely speechless. I always knew you had it in you to be great, but this exceeds all possible expectations! I can only say a very loud Bravo!!!

  • A breathtaking performance, George!

  • great Job George
