The politicians caused those companies to move overseas to be competitive, ie, EPA, OSHA, etc. Keep in mind, the evil rich don't print their own money, they get it from us. When there costs(aka taxes) go up, where do they get the money to pay them?

The companies who move manufacturing to other countries do not have to pay taxes when they import their products to the US. This lack of taxes paid is their incentive, and the reason we have high unemployment in America. The middle class deserves a level playing field, if not, we will all be working for 30 cents an hour as china does.

I'm going to plagarize that. BTW re: a famous study called "Being sane in insane places" - a researcher got admitted to a psychiatric unit. While there he didn't exhibit any psych symptoms & the patients knew he was sane. However, since he was always taking notes so he could write up his observations for a paper, the staff saw that as pathological and referred to it "as note taking behavior". No point to my story except it's hard to be sane in insane places.

I somewhat disagree, you are correct that the politicians (tax laws) caused the companies to move overseas, but by (tax laws) I mean lack of tax laws. The companies who move manufacturing to other countries do not have to pay taxes when they import their products to the US. This lack of taxes paid is their incentive, and the reason we have high unemployment in America. The middle class deserves a level playing field, if not, we will all be working for 30 cents an hour as china does.

@wedjim If the gov taxed (stole as you say) the top 1% earners an additional 5% annually, and then distributed all of that money to the 99% , the dollars per person would be a small amount. less than $2000 per person annually. This is not the answer. The problem in lack of jobs, is corporations moved middle class jobs out of country to boost profit, while simultaneously buying politicians to incur additional favors, like tax cuts. Get corporate money out of politics and rest of problems solved.

On another note, I am on my computer at my vacation spot. I will be returning home later but my computer's down at home. I'm going to plagarize that. BTW re: a famous study called "Being sane in insane places" - a researcher got admitted to a psychiatric unit. While there he didn't exhibit any psych symptoms & the patients knew he was sane. However, since he was always taking notes so he could write up his observations for a paper, the staff saw that as pathological and referred to it "as note taking behavior". No point to my story except it's hard to be sane in insane places.

Just finished watching The GOP debates - except for Huntsman - a bunch of either crazies or just incompetents. Watching Rachel and Chris dissect it now.

@onesmartgal Huntsman is greatly experienced in foreign policy and he's not a religious radical-he's not a radical in anyway. But, that's the problem. He's not radical enough for these people. They were taking swings at Obama and each other, while they should have talked about job creations. I knew this was going to happen and opted to go to bed. I was getting frustrated at their stupidity. I'm waiting for them to use the 9/11 tragedy as McCain did. Oh they can't, Obama got Laden!!!!

Same here! We know Huntsman is there best man but because he is - he won't get anywhere. Sherry on The View said he's like a democrat...or RINO (Republican in name only). By the same token I think Bachmann is a WINO or Woman in name only. The right elevates the females like O'Donnell, Palin, Bachmann to work against women, not FOR them. @onesmartgal That's true - I view Huntsman as being in the center. All Bachman did was attack Obama just like Gingrich, and, neither had their facts. I doubt Obama is going to address any of it tonight during his 7pm EST speech on jobs. They'll vote it down as well, because all they want to do is embarrass the president not help Americans. They've proven this time and time again. I think the only reason why Obama &Dems do these speeches, etc is so that history records it.

Interesting, that some of the key points in Obama winning the election is: there is no democratic challenge, no military failure, and no scandal. With the GOP there is division. Perry is winning at "Bachman's expense." Can't remember this guy's name but he is with the American University and this system has predicted every president correctly since 1984.

@onesmartgal Thanks for the link! I was watching MSNBC this morn and he was on. Everything is pointing in the President's direction according to Lichtman's predictions. It's one thing for voters to not be concerned with Congress/Senate voting (although, I think the TP have changed that forever), but the big election is quite another thing. We come out in the masses!
