Oh man, I looked everywhere for this song when the series first ended and was broken hearted to find that it was only written for this series. It was so odd to hear a soulful jazz song to the end of an anime, but it fit so, so well!

This was a fantastic anime. The ending was just awful though... I'd rank it along side Death Note and Code Geass.

@Cheeso33 Have you watched the movies, though? The series ending wasn't the technical ending.
I haven't seen the movies yet, so I can't say it's better, but I hear it wraps up (most of) the open endings.

@Cheeso33 I just watched the movies and I have to agree with you. I liked the open endedness of the show better than the "I'll see you later" and then "that was the last time I ever saw him but that's okay the end" that the movie gave.

Wait- what no! That was just the last time they saw him for SIX MONTHS, right?! Saki never EXPLICITLY said she never saw him again... AND SHE WAS CLEARLY TELLING THE STORY ONLY A FEW MONTHS AFTER THE MOVIES.... RIGHT?! :P

T.T so sad he was the good guy but judged as a bad guy this is the best anime ive seen in a long time and i really mean it this one was perfect to me.
