Well 1.18 pole.That's 5 seconds slower that this year's pole taken by Vettel that was a 1.13.It just shows the evolution of this sport and how fast these cars have become now,and that is all thanks to great engineers who keep exploring something new every season but unfortunately FIA is destroying this sport with its stupid and absurd rules.

@blerand91 I wish they would let the engineers have some freedom, today we could easily get these cars under 1:10 seconds around Montreal but FIA ruin everything! They may as well wrap the drivers in cotton wool when they make their way to the podium so they dont slip and die! Vettel, Hamilton, Button, Alonso, ALL OF THEM want to race on the ragged edge like these guys used to, but instead they have to conserve fuel and tires :/ More dangerous yes, but the drivers and fans crave it!

Nowadays we have Alonso, Button, Hamilton, Vettel and overall much tougher field plus Schumacher. Next season we'll have Raikkonen back. 2010 was one of the closest and widest championship battles in ages. F1 is now better than it was in 1997.
