I have never before watched a YouTube video this intently. Wow! If I was wearing socks right now they would have been knocked off! Thank you and please make more brilliantly informative videos like this one.
Nice...except that was not Memorial Sloan Kettering's hospital building you pointed to (it was a satellite office). The Hospital is another block down on E 70th. I was a resident there. Cornell is a great place.
Hey Jeff I am in seventh grade and already determined to become a NeuroSurgeon I wanted to let you know you are my insperation and you drive me to be a better student. I know you will be a great doctor and I wish you luck
nice videos. I study abroad, in the country i am in there are no rules. so i can record and document some crazy stuff. I am thinking of doing that. Do u guys think its ethical? It is by all means educational. but the recordings will have some pretty gorey stuff :)
@xxqueenzplayaxx I'm glad that our videos have inspired you to make your own. That was definitely part of our goal when we launched our YouTube Channel! But I think that regardless of whether there are laws in place to protect people's privacy or not, respect for others should be paramount and held at the highest standards. For our videos, we always get permission from those in the video to ensure that. I encourage you to do the same. If you can get exciting footage with that, go for it! -K
No mention of State University of New York Downstate Medical Center- College of Medicine, located in Brooklyn, New York? Also a public medical school. Seems you only featured what was only in Manhattan. Also, Stony Brook Medical Center- School of Medicine, in Long Island.
@Queenie1547 Sorry for not putting up more NYC schools -- I was trying to catch my flight and only had a limited amount of time to make this video. Can you, if you have time, make a video about the schools you mentioned? thanks! -- K
@globalhealthbridge Unfortunately, I'm not a medical school student (Yet, haha), but I'm a senior in high school, and I take anatomy classes at SUNY Downstate. No problem, I was even wondering how it was possible you and your friend were able to even film when traffic and waiting time to JFK/LaGuardia Airport can be hellish sometimes, haha.
I'm an avid viewer of your videos. At 1st i was interested in medical school and the more i learn about the art of medicine the more i love it. However, I am about to receive a D or C in Organic chem so that means i won't be able to go to medical school. I just can't grasp the material in Orgo and i disliked the labs. Even though i'd love to go to med school, i don't think i'll get in now. But your videos are very inspirational and you will be a great doctor. This is your calling.
@jetliigor Don't give up! You can definitely still get into medical school even if you get a low grade on organic chemistry (it will take work) but there are ways to rebound. Make sure to find a great pre-med advisor who can help navigate you -- best of luck!
Hi Jeff, I'm a 2nd year graduate medical student from Australia and I just wanted to say thankyou for making these informative and interesting videos. I've been following you since you were in first year medical school! I've always wondered what it would be like to study medicine in America and if I ever get the chance, and save up enough money, I will go to America and visit all the major hospitals. I'm itching to go see the ones you have visited and also pop in to take a look at Harvard!

hello! I was just wondering why many doctors are mean to nurses?
peacefuljow 6 months ago
@peacefuljow maybe because those nurses seem clueless.
