  • You're a rare virtuoso that can play and make real music at the same time! Awesome!

  • I fucking love this song... its in my MP3 and i'm listening it all the day!!

  • best sound & Great Performance of fusion !! \m/

  • This track put a smile on my face.

    Love you work :)

  • Very coool! the beginning i can see some David Gilmore influence...am i wrong?

    keep the good Job!

    cheers

  • @TheGladsound no you're not wrong, I love Gilmour!

  • "Dream Theater like" wonderful tune.

  • Anyone else thinking of TUROK 2 right now?

The song from the first level..."Port of adia"!

Man this song really reminds me of it....good stuff.

  • @ExtremeBogom /watch?v=hVhLuklG70s this one ?

  • @rockintothebone

    Yeah that's it.

Some of the melodies remind me of each other :D.

  • The opening is so Pink Floyd.....very nice!

  • Really loving this song man, I keep coming back to it. That is some very impressive playing, you've got pretty flawless technic with electric and classical.

  • @NorthernComfort Technique*... wtf

  • I never knew you could get tone like that from a P90. Sounds amazing.

  • Wow man you are great ... look Muris Varajic from Bosna and Hercegovina he has a cuple of great composition like Final dance or Cry Ines :)))

  • Lethal Weapon lol

  • Rick , you don't even impress me with your technique , your sound just make me feel good and triggers feelings in my head .... so It makes me forgot the fact that ur insanely great as a technician ....I think it means you Sir Rick Graham makes awesome music beyond the fact being such a guitar master.....gosh I even applaused at the end I was so into it XD

  • Divine Tone and feel. I love this.

  • Use some pre-distortion compression and your tap lines will come out more clear.

  • A lot of people say "I'M THROWING ME GUITAR AWAYZZ!!" when they hear good music, but this stuff makes me want to learn more. Appreciate your continued dedication to guitar, helps beginners like myself understand there are many more styles out there which should be a blast to learn

  • @tgarci2 yea your right comments like those are bullshit anyways becuase it should inspire otherwise i dont even for what reason you play you always get better in guitar playing just pratice the right things:)

  • Cool song and nice guitar...

  • Congratulations.

  • 0:57 OH MY GOD I WANT TO LEARN THAT LICK!

  • jesus christ... this is... godly.. 5/5 stars ] god... we need more stars.

  • @superagnitio he uses a Flaxwood Liekki on this track :D

  • Great playing!

  • Congratulations on your victory! Dear god what is that guitar? IT IS BEAUTIFUL!

  • Excellant track....

  • SKIPPED WATCHING THIS BECAUSE OF ADS

  • @cherrysoda3 Really? you couldn't spare thirty seconds of your oh-so busy youtube life so that this talented god-like guitar player over here could fund his hobby and quite possible career?

  • yes being well-rounded is admirable, but a jack of all trades is a master of nothing. Do you have a set band that you play with? or have you limited yourself to a solo act? As a seasoned musician it's become second nature for me to accurately gauge one's musical talents. A multi-piece band offers a whole new perspective to the song-making process. Just the addition of a set of vocals could shed a brand new light on your compositions. Keep an eye for future videos of mine.

  • How is your producer keeping you so well hidden? You need some good ol' American lovin'. I've heard you let it rip in full, and there's no denying any of your talent. There's an innumerable slew of bands in several genres that would salivate at the thought of having your talent grace the same track. Bet you could achieve more recognition in the states. Your playing seems to employ a myriad of styles. Excuse the cheap metaphor, but let your rock flag fly a little higher. It's like picking a major

  • It causes me both to wonder, and to be infuriated at the grossly unbalanced scaled that has become musical recognition. That some Jum Schmuck can get 20 million hits by adding a misleading 'best guitarist' title in hopes that his lackluster guitar performance will be cloistered and somehow redeemed by his attempts to appeal to a wildly impressionable demographic with laughable antics, while my friend Rick here, one of the more technically sounds guitarists i've heard, goes relatively unnoticed.

  • Sounds like a Bloodsport Soundtrack.. and bloodsports is a cool movie! :D

  • beautiful -

  • Man,you have such incredible touch... your control, and articulation is just amazing and there is such range and emotional content. It is simply a joy to hear you play.

  • All I can say is "Rick Graham Rocks!"

  • this is incredible, i'm blown away by both your song writing ability and your guitar skills. keep it up, my friend!

  • .....can't really say anything about it. it was just great.

  • Your tone makes me wish I had a guitar with P90's. Damn my lack of funds!

  • I just sat there... just... not blinking... or breathing (quite).... Fantastic, simply great!

  • Rick may i know where do u get this kind of tones? what amp do u use?

  • this is just beautiful...

  • Another hero who was born to play guitar with killer tone, fiery chops, and awesome techniques ...

  • I just love your tone, mr Graham, it's awesome! So full and thick, even on the highest notes, love the sustain on the harmonics and your technique as a whole! I've been playing guitar for around 3 years now, spent the first one learning classical guitar, the second and third with the electric and an acoustic, and you are just about everything my teacher describes as a great player!

    Rock on! \m/

  • why aren't you famous?

    I'm asking seriously...

  • One word: Great, Rick !

Your idea from 2:44 to 3:06 made me bow to you .

    Cheers !

  • whats the timing on this?

  • @JayLovePlaysGuitar

I think it's 7/8, not quite sure but my best guess. Great song by the way! :)

  • @SimonSkippZ i would say the same :)

  • @SimonSkippZ yep it's 7/8

  • not enough stars to rate this properly... brilliant playing, Rick

  • KILLER tone!! very nice.

  • Is this song going to be in your next cd Rick?

  • Should be ;-)

  • @starlinginspector I see you sir are a Soap Bar fan as well, they sound like a dream

  • @atomixmax It's actually the first song of the Insideout CD if you haven't got it yet. Cheers from Costa Rica Rick

  • i can't stop listening to :50 to 1:00. those notes are perfect for the chord progression.

  • 3:47 - 3:52......

    sensational !!!

  • So many good british guitarists.

    Damn.

  • OMG well done, very nice playing :)

  • Rick your awesome but what's it gonna take for me to get you to tab the 2005 rock jam???? do i have to sell you another guitar?

  • Fucking Badass Rick!

  • SOunds like modern pink flyod. BAD ASS

  • This was incredible, i'm a very hard person to please when it comes to music, i cover movie themes in my own arrangments such as "He's a pirate" and "The rock" and basically want to become a composer so my background is very specific, but man this song touches my heart, aspecially the intro.

    thank you for this song.

    - Nir

  • how do you get this kind of guitar tone?

    great playing dude.

  • the only thing i could posibly say about this is i personaly dont like the way this was mixed but as far as the playing goes fucking five stars my friend. the music is amazing.

  • dude you are awesome music that reaches a place in your soul captured that feeling only a few can deliver keep it real dude

  • yes...yes...yes...yes... great !!!

  • It's such a shame the musical climate in the UK is geared towards pop and "urban" styles and top notch musicians who play a genre of music which isn't & possibly never will be 'commercial' get no exposure.

Rick, Guthrie Govan & Tom Quayle are hardly known outside of muso circles and all 3 deserve to have the newspaper articles/reviews and TV time currently occupied by Lily Allen, N-Dubz and the like.

Kind of obvious but thought I'd vent.

Great playing a.p.n Rick & I can't wait for the album!!

  • @rivera213 imo Gurthrie Govan is petty well known :)

  • @Vignirv - Amongst shred heads yes. Ask your average Joe on the street and they will say Guthrie who? Shame though cuz that manly is simply godly, and deserves far more rekognition.

  • @rivera213 i couldn't agree more

  • @rivera213 It's the same here in the US and I think worldwide. We have La La Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber. The only way people like these is to keep plugging away, putting out youtube videos and slowly building and audience. Andy McKee of course was able to break through with a viral video called "Drifting" which currently has forty million hits.

  • nice!!

  • Really love the run at 2:45 Rick, excellent. Thanks, from an inspired guitar teacher in Alberta Canada

  • Wow.... :)

  • Awesome skills. Really great playing! I would just love to have a Flaxwood myself. Could you tell your personal experience with Flaxwood guitars?

  • man how did you get so good! i hate you...ha

  • You shoot me, AWESOME

  • Dude, you are a tank!

    Great playing also!!!

  • i couldnt stop listening to this one, nice playing dude, interesting rhythum sections and kool lead =] rock on !!!!

  • Manine sante!!!!!!! Gran virtuso delle corde....very , very gooooooooooooood!

  • BRAVOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!

  • Thanks for exist master Graham, thanks...

    simply great!!!.... a lovely tone...

(excuse me for my bad , realy bad english, jejeje)

  • Hey Rick,

This is just so intense and passionate being words. It makes my soul weep everytime I hear it. You are one GREAT guitarist my friend!!!

  • Sometimes i run out of words to describe the "goodness" of things. This is one of those times...

    ;)

  • I love pedal notes....great man

  • Comment removed

  • GREAT !!!!

  • Pure class right there. Kudos to you, Rick.

  • when you do tabbing, what's the trick to not flicking the strings next to the string that you're actually tabbing? it seems to me when ever i try to tab, there are noice from next strings. It's not as clean as i wanted to be

  • You have to mute the strings you are not playing with your hands. Easiest is to palm mute the strings above the one you are tapping (not tabbing) with the right hand and the strings under the one you are tapping with your left hand.

  • Yeah but there would still be noice from those strings i muted. When you tab, you have to flick when lifting your finder off right? i seems like my finger when i flicked of the tapping string would hit the muted strings next to it

  • I don't really know what you mean... But just keep practicing it and you'll get it :)

  • Beautiful guitar playing.

  • Where can I get the album! Seriously. Love it.

  • Hey Rick,

This just so beautiful it makes my skin crawl. Great guitar, great writing as usual. You inspire me man!!

    keep well

    Rgds

  • Great song!

  • possible to have the partition to this song ?

  • Rick,

You are playing some absolutely superb music. You always had the talent and the dedication and it's a joy to hear the stuff you're creating. Your friend (from too far back at that wonderful Satriani gig in Camden!), Rob Murray

  • Hi Rob

Thanks for the kind words, it's much appreciated. Hope you are well man :)

  • Tuuuune!

  • man i cant believe companies like itunes and rapsody havnt noticed you

    have they o.0

  • Rick has proven the exact opposite of that in this video(or any other video of his), that you must NOT have a tremolo bridge to be able to make nice sounds..

  • i agree... but with a tremolo bar he would had more nice sounds :D

  • that was very good!

It's a thing to have a good technique but to use it in a effecient and emotional way is even harder!

    You succeded!

    Cheers. Vivien.

  • 2:44 - ('til) - 3:05

    Just perfect !!

  • 0:00 - 5:06

    Are perfect :)

    Humbly,

    Wischi.

  • Hey Wischi, coming from an amazing player/musician like you, I really am honoured bro.

  • Rick that is amazing mate, I'm so glad you are getting the praise you deserve, your vibrato is just so perfect and the phrasing is fantastic, well done young man.
