@ciannagh The Judge does listen to both sides. And does ask the children where they want to be. my biological father was a jerk before and after my mother died. He left me and my brother a month or two before my mother died. My mom's parents took us in. After 2 years he showed up wanting the money not really us. The Judge Asked us After we were both wanted to be. And the Judge let us live permanently with our grandparents.
