Well having watched it and noticed the referee has an Northern Irish accent and there was only one ref who in 1997 was working at the crucible who had an Irish accent,I think that WAS Len Ganley and he had glasses too then.I think he also refereed Stephen Hendry's 147 V Jimmy White at the crucible in 1995 too.Same referee,same accent.
I'd just like to know who refereed Ronnie O'Sullivan's fastest 147 break V Mick Price at the crucible because sometimes the commentators don't tell you,that's all.
Len Ganley refereed the Ronnie 147 you mentioned.
