you can run a turbo on a stock k series engine and it wont blow.

Just make sure you don't over boost it and make sure your car runs rich.

I've seen K series motor run like 20psi stock internal.

but engine life is dramatically lowered.

keep boost around 10-13psi if you want engine longevity.

Yea Hondata K-Pro.Nah its not out yet for our car. And we can't use the RSX Type-S one because we have a drive by wire system. Only the reflash is available for us and you dont wanna use that with boost. There is a Prototype out but its trash. Hondata will most likely be switching to a full stand alone engine management system. Rumor has it, its gonna be out this summer, but who knows..

If the quarter mile is the only thing you bought your si for, then you've bought the wrong car. There are plenty of Mustang GT's for going only in a straight line with, trade it in if 15.7 bothers you that much.

stock mustang GT's are slow except the cobra's are decent. I own an 08 Civic and a 89 LX coupe with a turbo (and a honda CBR too lol } . And you dont build a dual purpose car. If you want straight line build it for straight line. If you want a car to handle then there is the opposite route to take. If you try and do both you end up with a car thats only average at both.
