@leedsjay2054 I wrote the music! The guitar was played by Les Davidson, Kate Luck-Hille on vocals, with the Prague Symphony Orchestra providing the strings. The initial production was created on Logic Audio (as it was called then) before being transferred and mixed in Pro Tools at the Korda Theatre, Shepperton Film Studios. It's a shame it's not used any more - but it was great fun to create anyway!

I remember i used to go there and we had nandos and then me and my brother would go in the arcade for a bit after the movie. i was around 15 then i think, im 20 now. I think its overrun by pakis though now (and im not being racist im just saying it how it is, im a hindu by the way also) Anyway i just go to AMC, broadway plaza now. So I will see you there for Robin Hood, orange wednesday lol
Another ad that Vue uses is for up and coming films which is shown before the orange ads... Similar to the Vue Giftcards one... I also believe vue is also having its films sponsored now... eg. where i work. Harry Pothead and some other films are sponsored by Oreo or what ever that choclate cookie thing is... and the Kids Am films are sponsered by lego...
So theres now quite a few trailers advertising up and coming films with who is sponsering them along with the Vue branding..
Spaz, the idea of orange advertising is 1) because of orange wednesdays (2 for 1) and 2) because the punch line of the orange adverts if "dont let a mobile phone ruin your film, hence why the orange people always ruin the actors films, ie turn your phone off throughout the film so that you dont ruin it for other people. etc etc
Enjoy the Vue *cough* Coming from someone who works for them... b**locks! out of all the cinema co's in the county that I know of they are under pay their staff and over price the tickets... ok, maybe something small like 10, 20, 30p difference but it all adds up! But gotta admit i miss that Vue Cinema's trailer!
So there is nothing used as an ident for now? Strange. I prefer 'Enjoy the VUE', and I'm sitting at my computer desk watching it.
BTW, those UCI cinema logo stills shown inbetween trailers on the lobby TV's, the 1990's one. I'm just killing to have that as my background. Think you can send me a JPG?
