  • What is with so many people saying "go ahead and...." and "i'm going to go ahead and...." in their tutorials.

It is a bad and annoying habit.

And yeah, tutorial is so fast, what's the hurry

  • How did you make the crop marks default?

  • your sound "sexy". i like listening ur voice over & over !

  • agree with his comments if you show people show them but not to fast, still a nice video though its hard check mine out.

  • Just an advice. You have 10 minutes to make a tutorial. You made yours in 3:02 minutes. Most people have no idea on what you are doing. Slow down and don't try to impress.

  • Wow amazing tutorial, you made it so easy. Thanks a lot.

I want to be a graphic designer so all this stuff about the bleed and file formats is good to know. I will most likely get qualified at a design school here but it's just good to know these things.

Appreciate this, it's amazing what you can learn online now.

  • Thank you so much for this tutorial, you are so nice to make such a help...thank you again and you are so sweet...

  • I did'nt just enjoy this tutorial, I learned so much it's unreal. This was the tutorial I was looking for but it has never been posted. I can't thank you enough. Thank you very much. Please keep making tutorials, they are the most helpful of any tut that anyone can find.

  • thanks, its very helpful

  • hey thanks for this, went a little fast for someone with less experience like me but was still easy to follow. you have a nice voice too lol.

  • really enjoyed the video. Not only because it's informative, but because the narrator's voice is really nice. I'd enjoy this video even if there was nothing but the blank screen, just keep on talking ;)

  • Holy Crap!! I just saw Miamisurf's comment. I was thinking the same thing about your voice Lindsay. There's alot of designers with some nice work on here but they always sound sick, pissed, or drunk. You have a very nice "presentation" voice. My compliments.

  • I'm a printer out of Central, FL. The best way to do it for bus. cards; start your image at 3.75"x2.25". If you have them, use guide marks and bring them in .25" from each side. Leave text and anything crucial to the card within this space. The rest is for the bleed, meaning your background. Using Photoshop, flatten the layers and save as PDF. Sorry to advertise, ClearView 352-556-4515. I print 1k,5K,+ thick 16pt cardstock, 2 sided w/ or w/o UV Gloss. Call if you would like to be a broker.

  • I need to know how to print a sheet

  • why thank you! your so kind :)

  • what thing did u use 2 make it

  • You can do PDF. You can do whatever format your printer would prefer. I just showed the way my printer prefers it.

  • EPS stands for encapsulated postscript which is a language that most printers will understand natively. Long before .pdf's were around, this was the most common method to ensure your documents printed out as laid out on the screen, wysiwyg-style.

Either way, I agree with the other comments, very well explained! Kudos to you!

  • i like your voice it very nice, great for voice talent.

  • wouldn't it be better to print as pdf (if you have adobe pdf printer installed) and include printer's marks?
