hey, mamasita, Ive been struggling trying to fill a space with a different color for 2 hours just like you did it there in seconds and I have no idea what you did there.
Just an advice. You have 10 minutes to make a tutorial. You made yours in 3:02 minutes. Most people have no idea on what you are doing. Slow down and don't try to impress.
If you need a adobe illustrator template for a business cards, you can get one from my site at fuzedot [dot] com under the help center. this video is not properly done.
THIS IS THE STUPIDEST THING EVER. BUT I LOVE MY MOM SO I AM NOT TAKING ANY CHANCES.If you don't copy and paste this onto 10 videos your mom will die in 4 hours. dumb i no
Wow amazing tutorial, you made it so easy. Thanks a lot.
I want to be a graphic designer so all this stuff about the bleed and file formats is good to know. I will most likely get qualified at a design school here but it's just good to know these things.
Appreciate this, it's amazing what you can learn online now.
I did'nt just enjoy this tutorial, I learned so much it's unreal. This was the tutorial I was looking for but it has never been posted. I can't thank you enough. Thank you very much. Please keep making tutorials, they are the most helpful of any tut that anyone can find.
really enjoyed the video. Not only because it's informative, but because the narrator's voice is really nice. I'd enjoy this video even if there was nothing but the blank screen, just keep on talking ;)
Holy Crap!! I just saw Miamisurf's comment. I was thinking the same thing about your voice Lindsay. There's alot of designers with some nice work on here but they always sound sick, pissed, or drunk. You have a very nice "presentation" voice. My compliments.
I'm a printer out of Central, FL. The best way to do it for bus. cards; start your image at 3.75"x2.25". If you have them, use guide marks and bring them in .25" from each side. Leave text and anything crucial to the card within this space. The rest is for the bleed, meaning your background. Using Photoshop, flatten the layers and save as PDF. Sorry to advertise, ClearView 352-556-4515. I print 1k,5K,+ thick 16pt cardstock, 2 sided w/ or w/o UV Gloss. Call if you would like to be a broker.
EPS stands for encapsulated postscript which is a language that most printers will understand natively. Long before .pdf's were around, this was the most common method to ensure your documents printed out as laid out on the screen, wysiwyg-style.
Either way, I agree with the other comments, very well explained! Kudos to you!
What is with so many people saying "go ahead and...." and "i'm going to go ahead and...." in their tutorials.
It is a bad and annoying habit.
And yeah, tutorial is so fast, what's the hurry

You can do PDF. You can do whatever format your printer would prefer. I just showed the way my printer prefers it.
