  • When is it coming out?

  • go for broke!!

  • In a World where 1% of Powerful Families Control 40% of the Worlds Wealth.....

Zeitgeist Addendum. Is Critical to Understand Society and why it is this way.

    youtube.com/watch?v=1gKX9TWRyfs

    You will Realize....

Why Society is Layered in such a way...

To Subdue Power from the Individual through Monetary Debt Slavery...

    For Total Control...

  • For some reason this film was never released. I'm in Honolulu where all of the one puka puka was from and much of the 442nd. Here is where it would have been logical for the initial release to take place. Nothing...they're a year over due. I am of the opinion they ran into money and race issues!

  • @Cynthaleh they said that it would be released in december of 2011 but i dont know maybe youre right

  • lol, way too much "American" in this.

  • when is it coming out???

  • 442nd Infantry (Mostly/Majority was Japanese Americans, and some other of different Asian Descent)

    21 Medal of Honor

    Over 9,000 Purple Hearts

Most Decorated Unit in U.S. History, even to this date.

Go for Broke, meaning they would fight until the last man drop.

  • @TheBreadCrumbs sounds as if this battalion fought like the japanese soldiers that they were descended from

  • @Wibbles20 yeah they had the spirit just like the japanese soldiers who fought the marines in the pacific, many japanese americans in the 442nd even wanted to be deployed into the pacific to fight the japanese.

  • @TheBreadCrumbs Who can beat that? This, as so much in history, should be more than passed on to our younger generation.. Dr ML King, Jr, once said that one should take time and learn from another culture.. Just as I post on FaceBook of the Tuskegee Airmen, I made a point of posting what I could on the 100th Infantry Battalion, and, the 442nd Regimental Combat Team.. Sad, they had to serve under a racist, like General Edward Almond..

  • i want t6o watch this movie when does it come out

  • yeah like 1 guy

  • Wonder why no movie was made with the support of a major company...not bankable enough?

    That's a shame...

  • Go for Broke!

  • I've met some of the heroes of the 442. They always point at someone else and say "That guy's a hero . . .not me."

  • ... it actually be more dramatic if they were fighting the japanese in WW2

  • Actually some of the Japanese/Americans Soldiers in the Intelegence department were incharged of decoding & interogating Japanese Prisoners. One of them even interogated & recovered vital information that saves thousands of lives. He interogated his former elementary classmate when he use to live in Japan. His loyalty to America is pure.

  • yeah but this is what actually happened, this is a true story. and the were a few nisei who fought against the japanese in ww2 but there were only a few of them and they were attatched to military intelligance not a unit like the 442

  • policy didnt allow them to fight the japanese; the battalion were shipped out of the pacific after the pearl harbour attacks.

  • is this still coming out? will it be on DVD?

  • From what I read this movie is releasing in November 14, 2009.

  • hopefully..been waiting forever for this one it seems..after the last few "war" movies out in theaters, St. Anna and Basterds, something decent needs to come out.

  • not released in my area on the 14th..Sad I was very much looking forward to seeing this film.

  • My uncle, Lt.Col. James Hanley was the 2nd battalion's commanding officer during this action.

  • i have the chills

  • These men are my Heroes and Role model for Asian-American who sevre this country. I am Filipino-Japanese and proud to serve this country from 96-2003 with the 25th Infantry Division Hawaii and Ist Infantry Division Fort Riley Kansas. Everything I admire and believe is all American. My loyalty is to the United States and I will defend it with all cost.

  • Hooah.

  • Mexican-American 72nd MP co. HOOAH!!!!

    Proud to have served.

  • @quickzilver333 And, yours is a story we ALL need to know.. It either has never been told, or, not told enough.. Our young people, of all different backgrounds, should know of this..

  • @zipper179 There are alot of unsung heroes with different ethnic backgrounds. One particullar Heroes are the US ARMY Filipino Scouts of WWII. They are the US ARMY ELITE FORCE in the PACIFIC. They fought and died under the American Flag. One member recieved the US Military Congressional Medal of Honor.

Give me ten thousand Filipino Soldiers and I will counquer the whole world.

    -Gen. Douglas McArthur-

  • @quickzilver333 Then, by GOD, tell it! Put it out there! So much we don't know, and, at 66, I want to be around to learn more.. I am definitely not too old to learn. When I stop learning, it means that I am no longer alive..

  • @zipper179 They made a movie about the US Army Filipino Scouts but only shown in Asia. You can also see the documentary about them in you tube. As far as Japanese America soldiers (Nizie). Watch the movie "Only The Brave" it was an independent film and never made it to the theaters.

  • @quickzilver333 Gives one something to, be proud of, live up to; and, most important, PLEASE! Pass this legacy on to your children, and others, of the next generation..

  • i wonder wen it comes out it looks perty cool kinda like saving privet ryan

  • u should watch Only the Brave... its about the same story

  • Pretty excited about this film, although I just noticed that a fair number of the guys are wearing postwar field jackets, as the "M-1943" Field Jacket did not have a zipper; they're wearing some M-1951 Field Jackets.

Still would look forward to seeing a well scripted and well shot film about the most decorated unit in U.S. military history. Looking at the IMDB profile, I noticed that MOH recipient, Barney Hajiro, will be portrayed. Search his name and you can find his MOH citation.

  • wow is awesome

  • Wonder what the Japanese will think of this movie.

  • Well considering that these soldiers were Americans fighting the Germans, I don't think the Japanese would have too much to say about this...

  • this movie's profile is way too low

    spread the word guys!

  • Looking forward to this one !

Hope to see it soon :)

  • definitely can't wait to see that movie.

  • my father's uncle fought with them =)

  • i can't wait for this movie to come out. Finally a decent looking movie about the 100th/442 RCT.

  • Turn up the volume, this is a heart pounding trailer and an amazing story! I've seen it like 50 times in the past year and it still gets to me. I can't wait when it comes out in 2008!

  • This movie is great and it is going to be a great one, cause actually I was in this trailer as an extra!! It was awesome and met really cool people, the actors, the directors, and staff!! Spread the word around and tell friends/family/etc. to visit the website and pass the word around. The more we get support, the sooner this movie will be going in motion!!!

  • November is when its coming out

  • when is this movie unleash?

    442 is great unit...

  • Actually, there was a previously made film about the 442nd. It was called "Go for Broke" and starred Van Johnson.

Having said that, I look forward to this modern treatment.

  • WOW!

  • wow that's powerful. looking forward to this one. it's a story that needs to be told...

  • When is it coming out?Cant wait to see it

  • I want to see this FILM WHERE IS IT!!!
