@OrijinalDawg 3 half eaten corpses and a slightly overweight Blackie Lawless. :D Seriously though, nice choices. I'd go with Yngwei Malmsteen on guitar, Les Claypool on bass and Deen Castronovo on drums.
Where is the magic, where is the flame, the only think that bothers the young musicians is how to make money, how to fuck, and how to buy the bigest car and house.I feel very sad and angry when bands like WASP and musicians like Blackie haven't the place they deserve in our music factory and they need to play in front of 900 people , when some years before they are playing in frint of 80.000 fans. Sorry for my English
In the top 3 WASP songs. There won't be a pop single that can get near this in the next ten years. This covers all bases and all cover versions. The voice and the lyrics are something else. You won't hear nothing like this on Teen Pop idol shows.
Has Sharon Osborne ever listened to WASP? Ozzy had a very simlar voice back in the 70's.
I agree VenomousVitality, Fuckula13 stated it pretty well. i have been a fan of WASP since the early 80's, album #1. Saw them open up for Krokus for that album...was a fan then, still am and forever will be. Blackie is a lyrical genius, too bad his "style" of music could never become "popular" to the masses, because they truly are missing out on a legend of our time, musically speaking. Maybe one day he will be appreciated for being a great song writer.
Hope one day he makes the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, but they are idiots and dont put the right bands/musicians in the HOF!But yea i have been a fan since the age of 14 and now 39 i still am!!See Wasp in a few weeks in Madison,Wi and i cant wait!!
@Veparrr where do you live? Because it really must not be the states, the US doesn't recognize WASP like they should, only the foreign nations see how great WASP is. That's why they don't tour here in the states that much, they are always oceans away. I've only seen them in concert only a few times in my life, but every time it has been such a rush. I still have a drumstick from Steven Riley on that very first show I saw them opening up for Krokus on their first tour back in the 80's.
@kingtnt68 I AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT THE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO WILL NEVER LIVE TO APPRECIATE WASP. THE PEOPLE THAT LISTEN TO THE MAIN STREAM ARE BLOCKHEADS ANYWAY AND WOULDNT UNDERSTAND THE COOLNESS OF BLACKIES TALENT
i had very bad times in my life and so i think there is no W.A.S.P. song i heard more often in those times. and even if it'squite heavy stuff and it pulled me down a lot of times ... this song gave me a lot of power to walk the dark pathes of my life. love it. never heard blacky like that before or ever. this song is one of that songs you should not argue about
one of the strongest voice in the music world and most people dont know who he is best songs in metal come from wasp and the mind of blackie lawless
