I remember when this ride was new the first, week, me and 3 of my other friends, went to both parks, and we did everything, and I call mom, where are you? She said still in line for Finding Nemo, I was laughing so hard, like what, we did everything aready, she said like she waited for 5 hours or so

OH MY GOD!!!! This looks awesome!!! My little brother would ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!!! He has down syndrome and he loves this movie. He recognizes it as soon as he hears it...he'll run to the tv!!! I can imagine how excited he would be to get in this ride!!!! I can't wait to take him!!!!

wow.. i thought i remembered a ride with the whole submarine deal. it closed in 1998 and opened in 2005.. and i moved from california in like 1999.. so that means i was like 5 when i rode it! dude, i have a good memory!!

I don't think it kills it at all. Plus there's more to the ride that was cut off, the best of the ride just began, it's very unclear in the video (towards the end), when you ride it, you'll see.

Your'e right, take back everything I said, it isn't as great as the original, but it was pretty cool. The computer animation is neat and the angler fish scene is awesome! I do miss the sea serpent but this ride is cool, wait 90 minutes it's worth it.

When i went the line was so long they estimated it would take 4 hours until everyone was on the ride, then me and my family thought it would get smaller at night but no instead they closed the ride for the rest of the day. Fortuneately, this line was so big all the other lines were smaller. I went to the Pirates of the Carribean ride 4 times, Indiana jOnes ride 3, and Haunted Mansion 2, thats a record!

If you haven't been on the ride, then you can't judge. It's actually an amazing ride, they did a great job I think, I've been on both versions. I'm sure this relates a lot to the kids but the technology used is incredible.

I completly agree. The old ride was actually Disney at its best. Walt Disney himself planned the origanal. It was horrible that they took it out. For those you never rode it, they can not judge. But those who did, you must say, it was bloody brilliant.

You have never "gone down" in the water. You do go down into the sub that is always at the same level in the water. The top half has always stuck out of the water. The illusion is that you are diving down, when in fact you are always at the same water level throughout the ride.

I went on the ride when it was going before, with the mermaids and such. Back then you did go 3/4 under, and I was one of the last people on the ride because the sub started "leaking" aka by the time we got out, because we had to wait til the end since there was no way to stop it, there was about 1 foot or more of water in the sub!

Well, in the RIDE, Nemo isn't kidnapped. He leaves the school group on his own. I think the sharks that you're talking about (Bruce and Anchor), are better as projections.

So freakin pissed because I was at Disneyland for 3 days last week and did not go on it because of the rediculous lines for it. (And yes, we were there at 8am OPENING time and by the time we got to the line it seemed like all the people with the early entry went straight to this ride because it was a 2 1/2 wait and with a 2 year old, that's next to impossible.

No, this is the first half of the ride... the other half is really cool - it has lots of hologram effects. Visit my page and see the remainder of the ride (my video was taken at night, so I cut out the beginning part, which is what you see here - I couldn't see much of anything at night on the first part of the ride. I recommend riding it during the daytime!

This is a great video! Nice job! It lets me see everything I couldn't see on this ride. I did it twice at night (last Tuesday and Thursday evenings) when the lines were MUCH shorter, and it's not well lit at night. But it's still a GREAT attraction! I can't wait to do it again!

I have gone on this ride three times already. Two of the times I waited 2 hours and 45 minutes. The other time I wait about an Hour and a Half. This is a great ride and not retarded at all. What this video does not show is the Computer animated footage, which is awesome! My favorite scene is when it looks like you are actually going through the EAC! This is my new favorite ride at Disneyland.

Hidden Mickey at 3:36 - 3:40! An upside down classic Mickey can be seen at the center of the screen from right to left, semi-blocked by a wall of bubbles....anywho, a lot of the same sets of scenes can also be found in Epcot's "The Seas with Nemo and Friends." Good video, though.
