The fishermen in Costa Rica dont give a damn about the enviornment. They only care about making money even if it means wiping out a species from its 450 million year existence. The tico (costa rica) government is corrupt (like every other 3rd world goverment) and doesnt give a shit either. sharks were here way before you were and the only reason people get attacked by them is because they go into their home. just like you would probably attack someone who invaded your home. its simple if you want to exclude all risk of getting attacked dont go in the ocean but dont incourage going into their homes and killing tthem off. i would also avoid africa and asia because 200 people a year are killed by elephants ,thats 195 more people than are killed by sharks a year.

Rob Stewart didn't say that Sharks rn't dangerous. Sharks r dangerous, he mentions it a lot. He's trying to say is that shark attacks r rare, and sharks are nothing what the media portrays. Yes I agree. Sharks are dangerous. However, people must understand that if a 12-foot long, half ton fish really wanted to kill off the human species it would, one day or another. More people are killed by vending machines every year than shark attacks. And usually shark attack victims are on deserted beaches where no first aid is available and they die of blood loss. 5 people are killed a year by sharks. 11 people a year are killed by vending machines.
