Many thanks for this one. At first it seemed like a mediocre kammerspiel, but shortly after I started getting sucked (...) into this little atmospheric gem.
Thanks for posting this, I've wanted to see this film for around 20 years and never managed to track it down. Much better than Hammer's Vampire Lovers and so much more atmospheric and poetic. Loved the dream sequence clearly influenced by Cocteau and the soundtrack music was beautiful and haunting. Shame this lost classic isn't available on DVD or better still blu ray.
Been looking for this movie for 3 months on IMDB thru the message boards-I vaguely remembered what I now know as the dream sequence from being at the drive-in with my parents as a tiny child (1-3 years old), and it began to haunt me - Thanks so much for putting this on - my search has ended!!!
That is such a great film. The characters' looks are really perfect (not like wanna be Robert Pattison). It's just amazing how beautiful actresses looked in those days. You do not find anybody so stunning today. Still it's a bit strange that she wears make up when she is asleep.
