Lucasarts shouldn't have canceled imperial commandos I would have made a lot of money with the success of republic commando. They also shouldn't have made elite squadron, it was ok but battlefront 3 would be alot better. Kinect star wars might be nice but again we need battlefront 3

Republic Commando is an alright game. it has aged a bit, and is very repetitive. it's not terrible, but it's not a brilliant game. it tries very hard to be Halo in my opinion.

that said, i think they should remake this game, then release a sequel.

because, lets be honest, there are way too few good Star Wars games.

i do like this song though :D

Or even better. Have a Halo game based off the book Halo: The Fall of Reach, and make it a tactical shooter like Republic Commando, which is what Halo: Reach SHOULD HAVE been.

I know it's been a year, but I'm never going to let that go. A tactical shooter based off the same plot as Halo: The Fall of Reach, would have made one of the best FPS games, if not games in general, of all time if it was done right.

Sigh, I guess I should stop dreaming about what's never going to happen.

as for Republic Commando, i hear that a sequel to it was made as a book, called Imperial Commando, so there is thought behind making another, but i think they are a bit short on money these days.

i imagine they'll either make Battlefront or Commando once they get all the money from Old Republic

@nspartan011 if they do make a sequel, it will not be called "Republic Commando's 2" it will ether be called "Imperial Commando's" or "Rebellion Commando's" and it will no doupt take place during the "Rise Of The Empire" from BattleFront 2.

i know this because of the ending of the first game, you'll probly be on Kashyyyk for the first level before Oder 66.

I also enjoy the Clone Wars more but, keep in mind the clones are actually the future Imperial Soldiers. The only reason they don't have the same voice and stuff is because George Lucas didn't even think about where the soldiers came from, much less it even being a huge success.

@Miguelchalupa Yeah, with a singleplayer that shows intense action and well performing enemy-AI like Killzone, with some well placed scripted events like the Call of Duty-series and the possibility of destroying your environment like in Battlefield. And you should feel like a badass, similar to Crysis (on clone standarts, no nanosuit needed). And the music will be good anyway, it's Star Wars. We are waiting, Lucasarts! Mainreason I wasn't dissapointed with TFU2 was because I got it for 12 bucks!

@RnB151 The clone wars are cool and all but if you want some really cool stuff check out The Great Sith War. Exur Kun makes every other sith look like a pansy. He is so strong that it took the entire jedi order to kill him. and he still did not die and it took luke skywalkers new jedi academy to kill him in his weakened state. Plus the Mandalorians play a huge part of the war as well

sev doesnt die...he just doesnt get saved. then it blacks out before u actually see/hear anything happening to him he still speaks just before the commander tells you to leave it since theres a battle elsewhere.
