We have a green cheek now. He's our first bird and we love him to pieces. I love conure personalities and the fact that they don't tend to become one person birds. The screaming can be a bit of a bother but it seems they're completely worth it. I'm hoping, in a few years we can make a Blue crown another addition to our animal family.
I love Avis! So, I know how much you love Duke. Blue Crowns are so smart and funny! I love when Avis dances! Does Duke stretch up tall then flick his tongue really fast? Avis says, "Ut oh!", if one of the birds or anybody drops something. It's so funny! He does other things too but it's late and I'm tired!

I am hopefully soon adopting 2 blue Crowned conures. Weedy and Jimmer.

yeah they are pretty cool duke loves to be talked to and to dance but he is not as vocal as avis
