@246starfire Because the only other song I had on my computer was Brick House; seemed overly appropriate and inappropriate for the audience I intend to reach. That's why! ;-)
@Cartmanloveable This cage is 3 times larger than most pet rabbit cages. It is tall enough for the rabbit to stand up in and have head room. It is morally responsible to grow your own food including meat. Our rabbits are not treated "cruelly" The cage is 3' x 2.5' x nearly 3' feet tall. Our rabbits are caged so they don't turn into coyote food which seems very cruel to me. Such a PETA-type comment; let them all go to be hit by cars and devoured by wolves! LOL
@Cartmanloveable You really need to ask a dwarf expert. We have a few dwarfs but just for pets. We don't breed our meat rabbits until they are 6 months old. Please ask a reliable dwarf source. Thanks!
just a quick question, i have a 1 year old male, with a 7 month old female, i dont think theyve ever had a successful breeding, as he as never fell on his side, i have realised that he ejaculates on her back and tail, sorry to say that but i was wondering why.
@teoman282 That happens sometimes, kind of a defective buck. If you haven't given him a lot of opportunity to perfect his skill give him some time. If the doe is aggressive during the breeding process try him with a less aggressive doe. You may just need to replace him. At one year, a buck should have the skill perfected. That's why it's so important to watch the entire breeding process and verify that the buck falls over. Make sure your doe is bred before 12 months old!
@ToffeeGirl96 Great question! We bred two of our Californian's on the same day and put them back in the same cage while we build one more cage. So far they are doing fine. Just make sure in the coming week that you give your pregnant doe her own cage as she gets closer to being in a nesting mood. I think it will be fine for a short time.
are those californians or altex? i'm crossing silver fox with new zealand whites and satins with new zealand whites. i heard altex are the way to go in hot climates so thought i'd ask.
@firetoy911 These are Californians. They are a little difficult in extremely cold climates and we typically cross breed them with New Zealands to make them a little more hardy. As far as hot climates....um, I'm not sure. I know that all breeds will struggle in the heat. We are at 7000' and stay a little cooler. We deal more with freezing temps. I would much rather contend with the cold than the heat anytime! Thanks!
@paidskn1488 I am working on installing a rabbitcam at the rabbitry but we currently don't have many additional videos to upload. Check back as we will be working on videos of our free range rabbits. Thanks!

This person is breeding rabbits to eat them. This video is animal cruelly. Cage is too tiny for them.
