That has to be the slowest steam train I've ever seen! Great clip. Good to see a video of the ol' Yreka Western. If you have any clips that include her whistle, I'd love to hear them. ;-)
There a rough spot in the track right there, plus the grade coming out of up out of the Shasta River heading back to Yreka is a 2.7 as I recall. I'm a student fireman on the 19 and the engine kinda twists around in that spot. The track was realigned a little bit during last summer, but its still a little rough.

i used to live in montague. i rode the bluegoose or whatever they call it nowadays from montague to yreka and back
