it was between nils and woodsy to replace Mick Taylor after he left the Stones...Nils lost out but maybe for the best...although he would have loved playing with Richards...too much Mic...it worked out right...he was better with a person who appreciates his talent..Bruce...and welcome to the Nils club...it's small but if you go as far back as I do with Nils (ie...Grin)...you will find out this guy has been great since the 60's...
absolutely transcendent. Nils' Youngstown solo was the highlight of every night on that tour.
