  • how can you tell he was a bad mechanic? that was an accident and sometimes even good mechanics have accidents and don't think

  • @sranjesuper most intelligent comment on here.

  • Was he working on either the Backup Neutral Safety Switch (automatic Transmission) or the Clutch Safety Switch (manual Transmission)?

  • @redyoshi1985 what if he was replacing the alternator and just started it in gear, not all cars have safety switches

  • Fuck, I'm surprised he didn't get run over.

  • Hey at least he had his signal light on

  • Xmodvin12 is right my little brothers Audi tt was the same way... If it was in 1st and you started with out clutch and it would take off lol

  • @dellen20 neutral safety switch fail

  • russian plate numbers

  • That's not how you ghost ride the whip playa

  • In Soviet Russia, you don't drive car, car drives you!

  • the way i see it the car was already started regardless if it was auto or stick, and auto wont start in drive, so he would have to have put it in park or neutral, turn it on and then get into drive. a stick could do this is it was in gear and had a high idle maybe?

  • @123ninjajoe123 yepp cause thats how i had to get my old manual shift car to get moving to get me home from work when my clutches slave cylinder was leaking.. on a flat serfice with a cold engine. it can take right off.. but you have to have the clutch pressed in (well in newer cars anyway.) :P

  • At least he got the car rolling thats a start

  • This wasnt an automatic it was a standard. For the guy that said he hates autos.

  • @TheGoose428 There's no way to drive a standard vehicle without stepping down on the clutch to start it+putting it into gear+gassing+releasing clutch slowly. He never got into the vehicle and he was able to turn on the car. Even if the clutch was nonfunctional, the car wouldn't move cause it would lock up. No gas, no movement in standard drive. Stupid autos, makes their users stupid too.

  • @WillxM88 - Older cars don't have a clutch interlock - I have a '92 Ford Laser that will start whether I have the clutch depressed or not.

  • @WillxM88 but if it is a standard and is a older model car if the car is in gear and he trys to start it it will spin the starter and turn the fly wheel witch sends the car flying. to prevent that problem car makers in newer cars make you step down on the clutch or your car wont start but your still able to pop start. in this case he didnt check to see if the car was out of gear soit being an older car it took off on him

  • @WillxM88 if a car has enough torque and the clutch switch is disabled it is possible to start the car and the car to take off, especially if there is a downhill slope... which who knows, there could have been a slight slope where the car was parked.

  • @TheGoose428 You're an idiot goose

  • in case you want subtitles 0:12 "please stop"

  • RUSSIANS MUUUUUUHHAAAAHAHAAAHAHAHA

  • Why he never entered the car (before starting the car) is beyond me.

I'd hate to be the guy that has to explain THAT one to the customer, lol.

  • @dstaplet01 I did the same to my car at the mechanic, he chewed me out for not sitting inside. I always remember him when I'm feeling lazy now...

  • What a moron lmao

  • You're suppose to signal right when you're turning right...geez. Oh and, fuck automatics...stupid pieces of shit!

  • mechanic: miss your indicators are working again

    customer: oh thats wonderful

    mechanic: (hands keys)

customer: (comes back) my indicators work but theres a big fucking dent in the front of my car!!

mechanic: that was like that when it came in (smiles)

manager: erm... ed the customers seen the video

    mechanic: oh..... (runs)

  • u dum-dum

  • This is RUSSIA... i can see russian license plates on the car LOL

  • Stolen by Ebaums

  • Hey look...it's making a right-hand turn.

  • DAMN, That car is either stickshift with a bad clutch pedal safety switch or it's an automatic with a bad PRNDL switch.

  • @MrLostcause1983 all manual cars doesn't have a safety switch on the clutch

  • @MrLostcause1983 with a bad clutch?? he had no feet in the car, clearly he just tried starting it up in gear u douche.

  • @xobritton28ox Why am I being called a douche? Read the entire comment first and don't jump to conclusions!!

  • Mh I think some newer model manual gear cars have the little gimmik that they will go walking speed if left in 1st gear with no additional gas. Maybe he thought that was standard on all manual shift cars?

  • @Laxyr it is like that, i guess what you didnt know is the higher gear it is in the further it goes, that is a bad argument, how do you know what gear the car is in?

  • @xobritton28ox May I direct your attention to the questionmark behind my conclusion? I was only aware of the feature I already described. 1st gear, no gas = walking speed, hence I did not draw any conclusions from it. I did not use the word "maybe" in a sarcastic sense.

  • At least he put his blinker on.

  • That`s not even a mechanic... Just some dumb fuck in a wash-it-yourself hall. And it`s manual with probably first gear left in so that as he starts it without pressing the clutch the car jumps forward because handbrake wasn`t on.

  • mabye the cars a stick and what he was trying to fix caused it to idle real high and it was in gear when he started it? idk thats all i can think of

  • I'm no where near a mechanic, but I thought there was a brake pedal solenoid that must be energized before any gear is selected. This may be sabotage, and Starfleet will be notified.

  • @seapeddler couldnt have been a stickshift with a jumped clutch safety switch

  • @arman757 You're talking clutch but that's ambiguous because some auto trans have a clutch feature.

So, does the wagon have a center console shift, or a column shift? I initially meant that the brake pedal must be depressed before a gear is selected. That's how I understand it. But perhaps now, the sunroof must be closed and the driver must be wearing a studded computer collar with a chip whilst holding a bushel of fries in one hand.

  • @arman757 i meant to say could have, and either way i didnt mean to comment on ur post. i meant to make i own post

  • lol

  • señor: Dediquese a la cocina,lavar platos,pasear los niños,etc...

  • Atleast he didn't try to be a brain surgeon rofl

  • does anyone remember when you could slap it in the granny gear drop the clutch turn the key and it would actually move the vehicle?

  • how do you make that happen in a newer vehicle?

  • @gaggotgaggot ....and this is where I leave the conversation that's going nowhere.

  • @gaggotgaggot You're right, you didn't. You implied that you thought the mechanic is American and I'm telling you it's highly unlikely because of the license plate.

Oh and you're missing a couple F's in your name FaggotFaggot. :)

  • @gaggotgaggot Another dumb Youtuber. That license plate is definitely not from the US.

  • That is what separates mechanic from technicians. that is exactly what a backyard mechanic does. He will then claim of course this is why he wont take his car to a shop. LMFAO gotta love morons I see it every day.

  • Is there a back story to this? You shouldn't be able to put a car this new into drive without holding the brake, there is also a detent and a shift interlock solenoid. All three would have to be overridden, and it would be both a puzzle as well as time consuming to accomplish on purpose. If it was the mechanic, what the hell was he up to in those last few moments before takeoff? In neutral while idling? Just checked my wife's 1991, ignition or shifter won't budge until I depress the brake 1st.

  • @FJoeForty It's stick shift, he left it in gear when he shut it off....when he started it, the starter cranked the motor and it being in gear also spun the transmission which spun the wheels moving the car....the neutral safety switch must have been broken or removed, it's pretty common for them to be removed.

  • @chris12123212 No parking break? also the clutch would have had to be depressed to start the engine, and he was out of the car, so it's unlikely that happened.

  • @Fishburn If the neutral safety switch is removed or bad, the car will move as the motor is cranked...it's very likely that happened because i've owned an Audi with the neutral safety switch broken and it will crank and move the car up the block....alot of people leave their car in gear instead of pulling the parking brake

  • @chris12123212 thaaat sucks.

  • Comment removed

  • At least he indicated...

  • Guy:Hmmm... What does this thing do ? :\

  • I give the guy credit for riding all the way until it stopped. A pussy would have jumped away.

  • Typical dumb Europeans. He's probably one of the more intelligent ones actually.

  • @joeysixtysix Wow. Just wow. You, are a fucking retard.

  • Looks more like a wash bay guy than a mechanic. Where is his tool box

  • minivans have transmission lver right by the keyhole so you should never start them from the outside of the car.

  • He needs some turn signal lubricant

  • That was MY CAR!!!!!! lol Just kiddin.....;)

  • Personally, I don't see what the big deal is - I mean, he did have his turn signal on, and there was no on-coming traffic...

    WTF, over?

  • How did that happen? Lol WTF was he pressing the pedal or engine springs was set in a particular setting."? Still I'm stumped

  • This vid reminds me of a incident when I worked for a body shop once, this truck had a remote start device. When it was finished, the owner started it (manual in first gear), the truck slammed into the bay door and badly damaged it

  • this is definitely a "Gotta get away commercial"

  • Mechanic: Okay, lets go ahead and see if I properly installed the over ride to the break shift interlock and…… OH FUCK!!

  • at least he used the turn signal.

  • did he forget that this car is stick?:)

  • Jiffy lube needs You.

  • neutral safety switches are goooood

  • way to go DUM BASS!

  • I see what he did there.

  • apparently his flux capacitor was fluxing too hard

  • @PrkchpsNaplsaws or maybe it was his twincontibulator that you need a left handed screw driver to turn counter clock wise!!! blahahaha

  • At least he used his blinkers

  • don't really know if it's a manual..

at least, in european cars with manual gearboxes, you start rolling after you slowly release the clutch and press on the gas. if you don't even push it, and it's in gear, it dies in 2 ft. max.

don't know how automatics work though..

  • It's a neutral safety switch that let's the car start in any neutral gear like of corse neutral or park but some new standard transmission cars don't have a neutral safety switch so u don't need to push the clutch in like some stick cars that have remote starters for instance...even though my civic did have a neutral safety switch and this is not a hate message or angry one

  • hahaha how was first gear pedro? hahahaha

  • LOL FAIL!!!

  • I bet it was a manually shifted car. without a clutch safety switch. in gear. ooooppppsss

  • @curepunkx

i bet you've never seen a manual car in your entire life

  • @curepunkx it mostlikely wouldnt start in that case....

  • @pepene93 @acibeb

Older manuals don't need to have the clutch pressed in, to have the key turned to start the engine. I used to own an 87 Honda Accord that I could just leave in first, and turn the key, and it would start moving, same with most older standards. Now days they have the clutch safety.

  • @coma9 you might be right. i personally have never seen a car without the clutch switch, but i guess they had to exist, lol

  • @pepene93 most older cars don't have a clutch safety witch. my 67 f100 doesn't

  • @killakobra that car looks newer though. 80s or 90s. i could could be wrong though/

  • ring ring, ring ring

errr sir, we're afraid the repair is going to cost a little more than we quoted, we found more problems...

  • @twizy123 "Umm excuse me sir all I asked was for an oil change"

  • @badboyazza2009 Actually judging by the foreign car, it is probably a country where there are many more manuals than automatics. Automatics of that vintage have safety switches that only let the car start up in "park". However, even some new manual cars will allow the car to be started in gear. My guess is that the car was in first gear, with the clutch up and no emergency brake. He started it, and off it went...

  • i think the old guy in a black coat was the boss.. lol

  • good thing he put the blinker on, someone could have got hurt.

  • a buddy of mine had he car on the lift and left it in gear he started it i was at the back and dam near got potenza smudged all over my face lucky he realized what happend and knocked it outta gear lol and love the comment on the wheels on tool boxes lmao

  • Someone set him up?

  • this is why toolboxes have wheels on them so its easy to roll out the door once you get fired

  • @hondakseries that what my shop teacher always told us

  • What an Idiot!

  • youre fired>>>>>>

  • idiot guy!!

  • which gear would it have been in because it didnt half take off quickly :S

  • euro junk....

  • this is why cars in america have clutch safety switchs.

  • "Uhhhh... seee... what had happened was... the thing got stuck on the whatcha-ma-call-it.."

  • @grippin2007 Don't forget he was working on the thingy ma bob, that's attached to the skidoodle majiger. That's why he forgot to put the vroom vroom's break's.

  • its funny that its 1 of the most commen accidents in a car garage leavin it in gear lmao

  • yer it was like that when u brought it here

  • LOL!!! That's kind of true depending on where you go.

  • well they could just say yer we replaced the light u wanted but u need a new engine and gear box and well pop in a free air freshener with a $50 installation fee for the air freshener all up to $7000 w/o TAX

  • this guy looks more like a detail tech, than a general or full service tech, but im wondering if he still has a job

  • yeah buddy!

  • Mrs smith your car is ready.....

  • ThAts Da DiFfErEnCe beTwEeN a MEaChaNic And A TeChNiciaN...LoL

  • Despite the writing.... +111111111111

  • oh noes!!! hahahaha

  • lol that stupid, what did he have the thorattle all the way open when he turned th car on lol

  • FYI: In most EFI cars, holding the throttle wide open while starting, shuts off the injectors, for the purpose of clearing a flood condition

  • ROFLMAO!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!

  • sweet man

  • LOL !!

  • wow crazy

  • That happened me :( but i bounced it of another car 12feet in front of me

  • now she's in...lol

  • LOL and OMG...

  • That got him fired for sure. Hey, you learn from mistakes so I can't accuse him or critizise him. Well, he was dumb for leaving the car on gear!

  • you just did criticize him!

  • LOLL

  • ouch

  • left in gear lol

  • id like to know what happend to the nutral saftey switch
