I think another reason ppl lie and I have been caught up in this myself is because we get flabber gasted frazzled in the head and confused like when your child asks you a question and you don't know the answer maybe they even are scared so you tell a lie because you want to answer quickly and don't know what else to say at the time. Though I always try to tell the truth I guess I have slipped up with that one.

Sunshine, many of our politicians, both Democrat and Republican, lie to us on a regular basis. If they don't understand how their lies hurt us on a personal level, how can they understand how their lies hurt us on a universal level?

Good information, Rose.

Truth flows freely but lies or deceit can block that free flow. Maybe it why we have created all these mind diseases - to keep us from remembering all the negativity from the past.

My guide told me a long time ago that a "little white lie" can be acceptable as long as it is not abused and only used to protect someone from hurt. Like - - that shirt is ok but I don't think it's your color. Instead of saying - that shirt looks awful on you. ;)
