  • If Izzo ever retires... I hope Crean returns to East Lansing!

  • @whattf73 yesss!:)

  • I pray that this guy never leaves Indiana! Love Coach Crean!

  • What did the crowd do?

  • At least Crean has some class, unlike the fans.Good for him. However, he is incorrect about "using vulgarity in the past."Bobby Knight used more vulgarity than most coaches in history. Not to mention he hit his players.Congrats to Crean for turning the program around.I challenge those of you claiming the same thing happens at Rupp to post a video.I have looked and cannot find one that comes anything close to how IU fans behaved.Hopefully the immature behavior of the fans won't end the rivalry.

  • @kybenzo97 Fuck Kentucky

  • Bunch of critics in here apparently. Tom Crean is carrying on the tradition of a clean program... nothing wrong with that. Say whatever you want about Bobby's language, but the guy was one of the cleanest coaches of all time in terms of following the rules. I think I may have even been a part of that chant (and I was most likely intoxicated... sorry for partying), but I agree, there's no place for it in IU bball. Crean is bring class and domination back to b-town baby!

  • you have pride in losing ?

  • To the previous posters: Indiana 73, Kentucky 72.

  • I've been spit on before attending a Indiana game...most spiteful hateful fans in existence...obvious where it came from

  • "We didn't use vulgarities in the past at Indiana." Um, you guys had Bobby Knight for how many years? lol

  • @markmccormick Bobby Knight might have used vulgarities with his team, but any time the fans went there he grabbed the announcers microphone and informed them that in no uncertain terms, if they continued to act that way, his team would leave the court and forfeit the game. Bobby Knight did not tolerate anything but support from the Indiana fans......he even told his fans not to boo the other team. Do some research before making a comment like that.

  • @fitz19908 Right on. Hell, he wouldn't even let them wave their arms behind the backboard during an opponent's free throw attempt until very late in his career.

  • i remember when IU fans were chanting Cal's a cheater when they played UK, completely forgeting IU is on probation...joke

  • What is he trying to get on SportsCenter?

  • If it's "not gonna happen", then why does it happen on a regular basis? Talk is cheap. The Clap can't control what the extra-fingers having inbreds chant but, seriously, this isn't Bobby Knight's IU any more. Cartoon heads, racist chants, half-empty student section. Oh how the mighty have fallen. IU is like the gum on the bottom of Northwestern's shoe any more...:(

  • @grthst1623 lololololol

  • he's right.

  • Winning is first!!!! we could have gotten Coach Cal instead of this church boy!! Iu is not the fuckin holy grail!!! BTW them pot smokers was ballin in the ncaa tourny!!!!!

  • Fuck you Crean!Dont worry about the crowd being pissed off, start fucking winning and dont worry about the fans......another losing record and you better worry about finding a job!!!!! you just a 10 million dolla fuckin cheerleader!!!!

  • @mrhoosierboy812 8 year contract and an improving record every season, I don't think he's worried dipshit

  • @charliegfrenz, you're honestly going to praise him for an "improving record" by which you mean an 6 win season was followed by a 10 win season? I've adamantly defended Tom Crean and I ignored all the criticism after the 6 win season because of course they were awful, for Christ's sake Taber was our starting center.

And I definitely did not have tournament expectations for last year or anything. But there is no reason for us to nose dive like that at the end of the season.

  • @charliegfrenz, I still think he has the potential to be an effective coach, but I really don't like how the team honestly gave up the way it did in the second half of the season. Part of the coach's job is to keep the team inspired even when it seems all hope is lost. I didn't see that at all. I'll give him more time, but if we don't start having significant improvements then I don't see why he should be the highest paid state employee in Indiana.

  • lol umm.. do u remember a guy by the name of bobby knight. shiit.

  • @bballstudct2010 I remember a guy by the name of Bob Knight that got on the Assembly Hall microphone and told his home crowd fans to stop using vulgarity. And Tom Crean wanted to do the same thing at this game, but he was informed he'd be suspended if he did since rules have changed since RMK's time. Educate yourself before slamming anyone.

  • I so do agree...vulgarity needs to be left at home. You are backing a team...if you cannot do that in a proper manner, it makes the team and the school look bad.

  • I agree with Crean. Americans have become more and more crude over the past 10 or so years. Enough is enough. Most of us are NOT trailer trash.

  • Good for Crean! i just became an even bigger Crean-fan.

There are acceptable and unacceptable chants-cheers-etc... and IU fans (students-likely) choose the easy (and ironically) p***y (ies) way out.

  • I've heard worse at Assembly Hall. The fans are on their feet cheering and using vulgarity all the time. Get over it. We didn't get a technical foul assessed, so get past it and try to be more clever next time.
