I'm 15 My dad left @ the beginning of this yr. (3 siblings- all younger than me & my mom) It's hard not having a dad 2 b there 4 me, 4 us. But, when he was here.. He was unhappy & always fought w/ my mom. He rarely told me I was beautiful or he loved me. It really hurt. Recently Joy (woman @ church) said 2 me do u know how vauable 2 God u r? I started reading the bible a couple of days ago. I have a student bible, and started on track 1. Delving into Jesus's ministry for the first two weeks. I have stumbled, again and again. I am 18 and I have failed several times. i knew that in the eyes of God, I had failed his challenge, his mission. But I stand renewed. I have been pushing myself, reminding myself, placing that bible on my desk to remind myself of the commitment. Praise be to the Lord God, who is over all things and creatures.

I used to believe in God. My babysitter raised me Catholic. My mother and father said I had a right to believe in what I believe in, no matter what it is. I lost faith in God. So many terrible things happened to me. I listened and did what I was told. But yet, he punished me. I no longer believe in god for that reason.
@AndTheDemonsPlay I'm really sorry that you feel that way. But God does not punish us. I had the same belief that you did at one time. But once I got into the word, I understood completely. I'd encourage you to do some reading of the Bible yourself. I personally prefer the message version because it explains it in the ways that I can relate with. We talk scientific evidence. No better evidence for a God can be found than in the Summa Theologica--something cannot come from nothing. This idea itself is skewed, as there is no perfect nothingness. This is stated in the Second Law Of Thermodynamics--you cannot have a perfect system, yet at one time, there was perfect nothingness. There was a perfect vaccum of nothingess. Then a spark created the universe. The Big Bang.
So now you have to be asking, where do I tie theese in. There is a time in between the Big Bang and the time tha scientists can calculate that we don't know what happened. This is called Planck's Time, or 10 to the -43 power. The question I raise is the fact tha before the big bang, there was a perfect vacuum, but then after Planck's time, a law seemingly comes into existance that says no perfect system can exist, and therefore, perfect nothingness can not exist.
Now either scientific law, with it the most important law, The Second Law of Thermodynamics, just came into being through an act of happenstance in Planck's time, or something was the spark to science. Thing is, a simple atheist arguement is that God cannot exist because something did not create God, but what created science? More importantly, what created the Second Law of Thermodynamics, as it is scientifically impossible for that law to exist prior to Planck's Time?

The new bibles are messing up Christians in many ways. Jesus is not God's one and only son. All Christians are sons of God, angels are called sons of God, Adam was a son of God. Lucifer becomes the morning star in the new bibles, he took Jesus' place. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, he was the ONLY begotten Son. We are unique sons of God by adoption, angels are called sons of God by creation as was Adam. Hell is fading away in the new bibles, it is becoming the grave, etc.

This video says so much, teens these days are getting. So many at my school make their decisions by what their friends do. Thats not how Jesus wants us to live. He wants us to BE the example, BE the one who changes the world in great ways just like He did. Maybe we can't live that perfect way like He did, but He's our living example to look up to. Whenever I'm in tough situations I think to myself, "What would Jesus do?". If we follow Him completely, we can change the world.

after my parents died i had nothing left, so i turned to god this video and others helped me realize god wont give me something that i cant handle so now i realize that he has a plan. once my freind alec (the owner of this account) showed me this video i beleived that god is real he loves me and i can handle anyting that life has to give me and im ready all thanks to god. :)

I used to believe in God. My babysitter raised me Catholic. My mother and father said I had a right to believe in what I believe in, no matter what it is. I lost faith in God. So many terrible things happened to me. I listened and did what I was told. But yet, he punished me. I no longer believe in god for that reason.

@AndTheDemonsPlay I'm really sorry that you feel that way. But God does not punish us. I had the same belief that you did at one time. But once I got into the word, I understood completely. I'd encourage you to do some reading of the Bible yourself. I personally prefer the message version because it explains it in the ways that I can relate with. I'd rather live my life believing there is a God rather than dying and finding out that there isn't one. Just sayin.........

But I'm sure the word of God is enough to prove to you. He does it throught out the whole Old Testiment Punishing the Jew for them not listening to him. There was a perfect vaccum of nothingess. Then a spark created the universe. The Big Bang.

So now you have to be asking, where do I tie theese in. There is a time in between the Big Bang and the time tha scientists can calculate that we don't know what happened. This is called Planck's Time, or 10 to the -43 power. The question I raise is the fact tha before the big bang, there was a perfect vacuum, but then after Planck's time, a law seemingly comes into existance that says no perfect system can exist, and therefore, perfect nothingness can not exist.

Thing is, a simple atheist arguement is that God cannot exist because something did not create God, but what created science? The new bibles are messing up Christians in many ways. Jesus is not God's one and only son. All Christians are sons of God, angels are called sons of God, Adam was a son of God. Lucifer becomes the morning star in the new bibles, he took Jesus' place. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, he was the ONLY begotten Son. We are unique sons of God by adoption, angels are called sons of God by creation as was Adam. Hell is fading away in the new bibles, it is becoming the grave, etc.

This video says so much, teens these days are getting. So many at my school make their decisions by what their friends do. Thats not how Jesus wants us to live. He wants us to BE the example, BE the one who changes the world in great ways just like He did. Maybe we can't live that perfect way like He did, but He's our living example to look up to. Whenever I'm in tough situations I think to myself, "What would Jesus do?". If we follow Him completely, we can change the world.

A relationship with God is amazing.....religion is what gets in the way...when you feel like you *have* to do it....When people *force* you to do it....thats religion....God comes with open hands and open doors to show you who you are and what He has planned for you to do. It's about getting to know the one who made you and letting others know about Him...not about making sure you make it to church each week.....or....etc.
