the visiting author at a recent writing class said that a piece isn't complete until it's read. Rather philosophical, but that's like vids on YouTube... do you believe that part of the appeal of YouTube is that anyone can view your vids? For those of us who prefer to watch & comment rather than post, it feels a bit exclusionary to have a poster upset that we're not posting!
I'd rather write about others' videos than make my own. I do have a webcam and I may make videos in the future. But right now I'm all about helping to promote other videomakers.
I prefer to be a voyuer rather than an exhibitionist at the moment. I am curious as to why those who post appear to be caught up with those of us that don't post vids. We are the audience, not everyone feels the need to post videos.
I use youtube to express my political views, I don't know everything about politics but I speak off the cuff from my heart. I would love a video response from you, even if it was a negative one.

I wanted to be a part of this great entertaining web site by leaving at least comments. Maybe I'll post a video of myself once, to be able to respond to one of the various discussions here on YouTube. Let time decide.

hey gpert, well, i don't post because i don't have a webcam. i just spent all my $ on a little cottage that i'm fixing up :) i do want to post some videos sometime and hopefully it will be sooner than later!

I notice alot of people don't have videos either. But I do! Come watch mine!! LOL I bascially use YouTube for my own entertainment, to hopefully spread the word about cancer and to encourage people to get more involved.
A lot of members do not have webcams. They simply don't have the time or interest in posting their own videos. They'd rather watch the clips of other people's work (I assume).
Sorry I have no videos. I am in the process of researching what camera to buy and hope to start posting sometime in the next few weeks. I will try to remember to come back and post here...
Hey you were pointing at ME!;P Unfortunately I am broke and don't have a cam or the software to make a video or I would do it for you ,even if I am camera shy.*sighs* Maybe one day I can. Love your videos though. I come to YouTube for many of the same reasons you stated but most of all I like the smiles and laughter it brings to me. THANKS!...Kathie
I just looked on my comp and found out I DO have windows moviemaker. I just made a very rough photo montage of me, my family and some of my daycare babies and added some nice music.My first try at this but it was fun. I think I will have a new addiction now , when time permits. It will take me awhile to learn all the bells and whistles though.
I would love to post videos, but I have no equipment and not likely to get any soon :( love yer vids tho :)

A lot of members do not have webcams. They simply don't have the time or interest in posting their own videos. They'd rather watch the clips of other people's work (I assume).
