  • I saw the mineral case on sale online for $24.99. My Christmas shopping will be done soon...at least for the girls. The guys might get the razor Koren recommends.

  • I'd hate to see what happens if you forget to latch it again...

  • I love you <3. You have such great tutorials and advice!

  • it doesn't seem to hold very much - also is there a way to modify the wells so they fit more smaller jars - e.g. for someone who has many many eyeshadows they want to store, but not many larger jars?

  • sorry if someones already said this before but yeh, they should have thought of lining the the entire thing with foam or something to stop the rattling and jars from cracking.

  • are those MAC minerals or bare esscentuals?

  • the best make-up artist i've ever seen! amazing!

  • You are always super helpful - thanks bunches! What do you think of the mineral makeup from Coastal Scents?

  • I just found your youtube today! you are so great and friendly! i love watching your videos :) you're seem really great <3

  • i thought that was pretty cool.

  • Looks like this could help with speed make up like for a photographer or something. Don't know how well it would compare to a lunch box with cardboard in it for the traveler that doesn't have alot of money...but if you don't have enough money, why would you have that amount of make up?

  • i dont like it. too bulky

  • Minerals are a total pain in the butt to travel with. It drives me crazy.

  • Frankly, I think this is a little silly. I see a lot of defensive "this is for PROS obviously if you don't see the point, you're not a pro" type comments - Well I am an MA and would not use something like this. It seems bulky and cumbersome for the amount of product it holds. I never go to a job without my train case which houses everything wonderfully. I do like the concept, but for $44...I think it's a waste of money. I'll stick with my case. Thanks for the info though!

  • There's black foam stuff used for packing that this needs a sheet of... the rattle could drive you nuts. But bubble wrap would do in a pinch. GREAT product though. Even at home little jars all over makes me nuts!

  • i love uuuuuuuuuuu

  • I adore the way you pronounce 'so!'

  • I totaly noticed that too!

    it's amazing

  • everything you recommend i find to love! thank you for this review! :)

  • if i was hiring a makeup artist, and i had to choose between the one with the organized materials and the one with his crap in ziploc bags... i wouldn't choose the one with the ziploc bags. this is for PROS obviously if you don't see the point, you're not a pro.

  • You could just glue a sheet of shock resistant (not too thick) material in the lid and it will become silent.

    Thanks for the info Koren.

  • Your amazing thank you

  • thanks for sharing!! this is really cool!

  • Ah this is so neat, I want one :).

  • Thanks for sharing! I would have never known this was on the market. I think this is my answer to carrying my mineral make-up. For me, this is a "must have."

  • i dont see the point of leaving negative comments-- if you don't want this don't buy it

  • I think it is a great idea...for people who can afford it. Horrible price!

  • as a professional, you'd want to have things look much more polished and put together, not trashy and shoved into plastic ziplock bags.... As a consumer, it's probably not necessary... unless you like to have things organized.

  • It's not more pricey then a basic MAC makeup bag...

  • this sounded like such an awesome idea.. until i checked out the product on their website.. it retails for $44. i wouldn't pay more than 15 for it.

  • i like this cuz it saves place :)

  • I agree that it looks cumbersome. I just stick a cotton ball between the lid and sifter and wrap them all gently in a small hand towel for traveling.

  • they sell a cabinet in ikea which is exacctly the same as this. or you can just buy the shelf for a couple quid. which has the grroves for diff jars

  • seems like a waste o fmoney to me..

  • to angelgurl07734 :

    yeah kinda

  • Yayyy I subscribed :-)

U are AMAZINGGGGGG! Can u please do a tut on how to make eyes appear larger N more open? Im from the caribbean, but have small asian eyes thanks. Kisses from Nyc :-)

  • You're always so helpful and considerate of your viewers, Koren!

    Thanks!!!

  • Thanks for showing us this, Koren. This mineral case looks rather cumbersome and not practical at all. I don't think I have any space that I would be able to put it out. I'm just scratching my head... why?

  • It looks a little too big for traveling.

  • Koren, any tips on how to keep ur makeup station clean from powder or prevent the mineral powder from gettking all over the place? Thanks.

  • don't spill it...

  • Thank you! I think this is a really great idea for any of those who have had to fuss and travel with mineral makeup--can be a big mess if not stored properly.

  • ManuelAntonio93, Can you be any more rude?! Mind your own d@mn beeswax.

  • OMG! I saw this at the laser place like a couple days ago when I was buying my Bare Minerals and I am so getting one when I have money for it! Maybe even 2! I love it!

    -Ashley

  • I Love ya! you are so awesome

  • meh...

  • oh wow wat a great product to have especially if ur a makeup artist or just simply learning and u have either very few mineral or alot u just simply choose for the occasion and in they go...alot better then fiddling around to sort which are minerals etc!! i love it!! I practice on my friends alot and i prefer mineral just cause its great for all skin types and this would be great for those trips!! Altho i do find it a little too pricey

  • awesome!

  • Koren, you are absolutely amazing and I can think of no higher honor than seeing your excellent video about The Mineral Case. It means everything to know you appreciate the features and design elements. A video by Koren is like winning an Oscar! You are simply the World's Best Makeup Artist and Educator. I can't thank you enough!

  • settle down, sheesh

  • im not feeling this.. i am very happy with my toolbox. but i love enkore's other ideas

  • Hmm other than for traveling, seems like a silly product. It would take up a lot of room and it would be cheaper to just get small plastic baskets!

  • Hmm... case is sleek, but it seems like such a fiddle to open & close. and at $44, a lot of money to just hold 18 little jars. The case would have better if the lid were attached & could flip up & down vs. coming off. I use a metal box that's hinged and it holds 30 jars. I keep a small ziploc bag of throwaway sponges and another small roll of makeup brushes on top of my little jars which holds them in place. Bonus, the tin is recycled. It once held delish Cadbury cookies. Cost $16.

  • BTW, the cookies were well worth the $16.. esp since the brushed silver tin could be reusable in so many ways. Got it at Target during the holidays, but it's also sold in many other places.

  • I love Koren, and his product recommendations are usually very helpful... Not to hur anyone's feelings here, but this is a really dumb product! It wastes space, does not accommodate other sizes of jars, and frankly, it is unattractive! His other homemade organizing remedies seem more promising.

  • awsome

  • But won't the spill out since they're on the side?

  • OH! I get it! ENKORE, KOREN, wow i'm slow!

  • heehee :)

  • cool :)

  • I have one and love it! It keeps everything in order and I can find the color I want fast.

  • i don't think that would be very good if you're using everyday minerals, like myself.. cuz the jars are thinner etc..

  • This is fantastic! I have been looking for something like this for my glitter jars for a while. I will def have to check it out.

  • do they fit everyday minerals jars or are the edm jars too flat?

  • i'm wondering the same thing

  • The Mineral Case can hold 4 jars up to 2 ¼ diameter & 1 1/8 deep (usually foundations, all over colors, finishing powders);

    4 jars up to 2 diameter & 1 deep (usually blushes, correctors, concealers, highlighters);

9 jars up to 1 ¼ diameter & up to ¾ deep (generally eye shadows)

1 jar up to 1 1/8 diameter & up to ¾ deep (often brow color)

But its flexible, too, so you can store smaller or thinner jars securely in larger compartments. Hope this information helps.

  • I think this is a good idea. It holds lots of jars securely, and the tapered edged make it fit in bags and suitcases well.

I would suggest trimming down some of the extra space to make it smaller for travel. Perhaps putting a covered foam insert in the lid to keep the items from rattling around so much. A cover molded over the foam would be easy to wipe off.

Nice aesthetic and a good niche product.

  • you should mention how much it costs, and i dont think this is necesary, since the thing is made for specific sized jars, you can't always put what ever you want in there...

  • This is really handy, but I disagree cause this would be handy storage for anyone. I hate make-up clutter. Can't find anything if I don't organize! Thanks for the tip!!

  • You always find such great products.

  • you are awsome, i love your videos, keep up the great work, ps. you have really great tips and ideas, thanx ;)

  • looks cool in a lot of ways but kinda clunky/fidgety. I think i would just stack them in a pringles can lol, it would be about the equivalent but free

  • You make geat and useful videos! Thanks. :*

There's a boom on the market because of the mineral makeup - and I'm glad because of that. :D

  • Thank you.

  • did you ever state the price or where you can purchase the product?

  • He said in the video where (website) it was from.

  • oh this is so cute besides the spice rack I was gonna get to hang up I can get these instead maybe! Love your tips and product ideas thanks.

  • way cool!!

  • That's a georgous case!

I was curious about it working with other jars too. Checked the website and found it works with many others.

  • wow now that's a great idea!

  • thanks so much for a great idea I'm grabbing two asap :)

  • Cool, but not a necessity, Ziplock baggies are cheaper..haha.

  • i love this idea... but what about the giant pots from everyday minerals?? :(

  • This definitely will not work for the Everyday Minerals Full Size Containers because the diameter of those are bigger than the length of the wells in the case.

But, I guess you don't need it that much for Everyday Minerals since they redesigned their containers to have the sifter blocked when you aren't using it.

  • i'm thinkin the same thing

  • This is a great idea :)

  • Oh Koren, always so sweet. God bless you man. Thanks for all your advise.

  • Interesting idea! But you can't stack the thing with other boxes (usually square), due to its dome shape. Also, I'd like to decide myself the allotment of different size pots inside, instead of being limited by a prearranged setup. So in the end, I rather put my mineral stuff in a tight makeup bag and if necessary individually protected by small plastic bags. Won't rattle either! Nevertheless, nice idea.

  • i want one! The last two times I traveled my mineral makeup did get all over my makeup bag.

  • good idea :)

  • i have to show my friend this!!

  • really cool thanks koren your the best :)

  • $44.00 is pretty expensive... I think I might come up with something different, but thank you so much for the idea! And great review! If I had the money I would buy one!

  • It's now priced at $24.99.

  • Verrrrry expensive for what it is. Great review as always though Koren. Thanks.

  • I have the same question as JosefScarletteMUA. Could I use it to put my paint pots, fluidline jars and MAC compacts/or blushes in?? AND if so, could you please do another video with the MAC options. Thanks

  • oo i like that!

  • you have really nice nails....cant help that i noticed that...:)

  • Cool idea. $44.00 is kinda steep, though.

  • Wow!

Could I use it to put my paint pots, fluidline jars and MAC compacts/or blushes in??

  • yeah, and their site says it fits many other brand jars too.

  • Yay!!! I'll definitely look into getting one. It'd be PERFECT for on-the-job traveling.

  • very cool

  • I think if you are traveling and you don't want the rattling it might be good to stick a piece of bubble wrap or foam on top so there is less space between the makeup and the top of the case.

  • I've traveled coast to coast with it and never heard it rattle. I also carry one in a tote and had it in my rolling travel bag and never heard it rattle. But if you hold it and shake it, it does rattle.

  • nice but its kinda noisy lol

  • haha yeah it rattles a lot

  • Hello koren i love your Video ... specially the Beyoutified ... it help me a lot..... and its a big difference if you wet the sponge to even out the foundation ... its much lighter thankyou koren

  • wont the small jars move around in the case?

  • hey pinksealight - no the design of the lid prevents it from shifting around

  • i want one i have sooo many 5grams pigment samples and this would be a perfect storage.

  • can you use it with MAC paint pot? it would be great

  • good idea!

  • cool!

  • thanks Koren for great videos all the time:)

  • awsome!
