Just to clear all this character business, if you make a character on one server your data will not move to another server... this is why you must be very wise with your choice of the server

also to make sure your friends are on the right server, you can go to other servers but it will have you make a whole new character, although quest packs and extra character slots will move over to other servers as well

@Xather15 No your character will never be deleted, what the other guy said is not the devs work it's the players who run that kinship i'm guessing they remove inactive players thats all.

@WickedTheCaptian No difference, its just a combined pack of quests in limited number of areas in LOTRO. This is good for new people who never played before.
