i think not... it's not hard to get in the sport, there are many airsoft shops here...

It's partially illegal. It's okay when you just play at the game sites but the police can confiscate it if they caught you traveling it without license or shooting people randomly. XD

i dont know if yer in the phils already since but in cebu, its very easy to get the guns. you won't really need the papers until you join official tournaments but if you just wanna play it safe, ask for forms to register yer gun at airsoft shops.

@halofanaticboy you don't really need the papers if you just play at home or in confined areas or if you don't plan to take it with you when travel outside yer island (via boat or plane). even in tournaments they also provide a temporary permit to transport (PTT) for the duration of the tournament i think its just for fomalities, liability issues maybe but other than that, you practically don't need the papers that badly

@halofanaticboy yup, thats right. papers are basically just permit to transport so if you don't plan to transport, you don't need it. and depending on where you are, you can actually join tourneys even under 18. my brother was only 16 last year when we joined one.

but yeah, to address yer immediate concern, lack of legal documents upon purchasing of the AEG is no hindrance (spelling?) to airsoft fun, in cebu at least.
