@xKooseeee I disagree, A more able and responsible captain would have paid attention to the manager and therefore brought a sense of cohesion rather than abject confusion to the midfield. I have not heard anything to even suggest that "most fans" wanted Stevue Me to be captain again; however, I have heard excuse over excuse for Stevie's abysmal and woeful performance in S. Africa. FACT: John Terry led England to the Workd Cup; Steven George Gerrard led England out of it.

As i have already explain, for you the only reason for ingurland failure is Gerrard, who is wrong. She share responsabilities with all the others players, and poarticulary certains players like rooney or terry who were milles from their real level. Yes he is repinsible, but notthe only like you tend to pretend.
