  • love that wrench glock - so awesome and custom made

  • it sounds like it's made out of some kind glass?

  • @the09conradz The first two are made from stone... two different types of granite. The first one is made from floor tile, the second one from countertop scraps.

  • @tcmiguy very interesting and cleaver. How long did it take you to make this thing?

  • @the09conradz The first one, which is two and a half chromatic octaves, took about 4 hours. The second which is only ten notes took about an hour. I had a stone cutter cut the stone into the two inch strips first, though. All I had to do was cut them to length to tune them. Had I cut the strips myself on my small tile saw, it would have taken considerably longer.

  • Wow! Part vibraphone, part xylophone!

  • all lithophone!

  • woooow!!!!! great tools! I've been making instruments out of anything I can find, I never had toolbox in mind! great!

  • You're pro.

  • OMG! ok, my father has the tools, I just need to know how to make it resonate... what is that underneath? copper tubing?

  • The toolbox one was so cool! I'm gonna go make one right now!

  • very interesting sounds, especially the tool-glockenspiel!
