@bm124 can you help me please, i'm stuck on what poem to compare with "what were they like " can you tell me another poem which is really good to compare with "what were they like" from cluster 1 till cluster 2 please. GREAT VIDEO :)
Thanks, this really helped, im revising for my exam at the moment as im ill, so this is exellent to help people understand how they can use certain words to create evidence in an unseen poem, thanks!
Yes, I was going to ask about the "Writing to persuade" section as well. Well did a mock back in November and had no revision, I came out with a B but not really sure how. How can you revise for this section?
@jellybeangravy Really difficult to revise for- key thing is practice and plan. Watch my videos on planning and paragraphing and on writing to persuade as these will be helpful but, if you got a B in the mock, sounds like you're on the right track technically. Maybe a bit more confidence with your vocabulary and a bit more flair in your content will help to lift this grade further.
@bm124 Ok cheers. *EDIT* Just watched them, they helped so much. Thanks so much for your help, there's now sticky notes with English tips up everywhere!
@footballjmaster Glad you like. I'm not planning to do argue or advise simply because, in my opinion, students always write better when they choose the persuade option (presuming you're doing AQA GCSE?- see my persuade video for hints on this). Argue is similar but you have to cover both sides of the argument equally, beginning with your counter argument (and I touch on this in my video on paragraphing and structure) and I would avoid advise like the plague! Hope that's not too unhelpful.
thank you!

@kaurageous24 It is a little speedy I admit- was trying to fit it all into three minutes. That said, you can always pause it or watch it again!
