Not true. A Ferrari Enzo, McLaren F1, Bugatti Veyron (0-60 in 2.8 secs) or even Porsche 911 Turbo would all destroy the M5 for example (although the M5 is a great car).

3 out of those 4 have German engines. The Veyron engine is a W16 made by VW, the McLaren F1 is a BMW V12 and the Porsche is a porsche... and also german.
