The acting was great yeah, but the movie (the story) was lame. I never read the book, but based off the movie it looks like a boring read. They barely went to Terabithia and the girl died.

Now The Golden Compass, that was a really bad movie from a really good book. Truly a waste, I doubt if they'll finish the trilogy.
