  • Beautiful riding, What amazing sports people.

  • That was awesome!

  • Banking banking banking! Use it, that's what it's for. It is of little value in kilo's, or pursuit. You drop down the banking properly, and it's like getting shot out of a cannon! Gravity is not a theory!

  • shame theres the wistle these days, it used to be evern better

  • Great sportsmanship, if it was up here they would be throwing chain rings at each other like ninja throwing stars.

  • i practise to do this, but i cant yet, im more into road :)

  • Track standing is an art if you can do it properly! It's all about control. If you control the race you have the advantage you set how the race goes. You see it in this clip with Barry(trini) not wanting to go to the front so he can slipstream Craig(GB) to the finish. Track sprinting is a game of strategy, speed, control & skill especially on big outdoor tracks like this.

  • @aluisious You've never seen a slow ride competition? Usually some dude on an enduro wins.

  • @aluisious dude u are soo ignorant --- dont u understand what is this is track racing dude u need some legs some brains and balls to do this assholee .

  • @aluisious @aluisious dude u are soo ignorant --- dont u understand what is this is track racing dude u need some legs some brains and balls to do this assholee .

  • @sierra061492 If you think balancing a bike longer than another guy takes brains and balls you don't have much of either, faggot. Legs, sure, and quick reflexes, and the compulsion to do more pathetic shit than the next guy to get an edge in an event no one cares about.

Enjoy your track stands, I'll settle for racing where people try to set record low lap times, not record times for not moving.

  • @aluisious this is only one type of track race, i think it's only the last lap counts where they go fast. if you want speed, check out the 200m flying starts or something

  • @aluisious somebody needs to step on your neck

  • @skoockum Are you volunteering to try, faggot? Shut the fuck up.

  • @aluisious that's real frightening coming from some twit hiding behind his keyboard

  • @aluisious lol what a fucking loser comment. Even a disabled person on a tricycle is cooler than someone using a motor.

  • @aluisious your a massive tool, and have no knowledge of how this sport works.

  • @89Czeko And you have no knowledge of how English works. Bite me.

  • @89Czeko You spelled "faggot" wrong in your comment on my profile, you pathetic moron.

  • whats the point? i dont get it

  • hilarious...

damn... it looked like they were going pretty fast.

  • I find this very UN sportsmanlike. They should race as hard as they can and let the race take its natural course. Presumably I could beat their lap times in cut-offs and flip-flops on a rusty commuter when they do this, which makes all their fancy gear look somewhat redundant.

  • @aaronfromhastings But this is what the sport is like. Maybe the resulting strategies are a bit strange, but the fact is that this type of race isn't about getting the shortest lap times, it's about beating your opponent. The competitors are doing the best they can under the rules that have been set.

  • @blind3rdeye They should give them a separate trackstand event and then a proper race, with a minimum speen of 15mph, and combine the results!

  • why do they have to do a trackstand?

  • cool stuff

  • what a shitty velodrome

  • sorry if this is a stupid question but i just gotta ask why do they stop and trackstand? do you get points or something for it? or is it for rest? why don't they just sprint out the 3 laps?

  • because a normal human can only sprint for 300m(on a bike) 3 laps stands for 750m. they trackstand to try to get the opponent in front of them, getting ready to be in their slipstream, and out of his line of sight.

  • the reason they trackstand is so that they can get them selves in an ideal position to draft each other.

  • they stop like that in an attempt to get the other person to go in front of them.

the person that is directly behind the other guy has a big advantage because they can draft the other person, then at the last second slingshot around them

  • Beautiful sportsmanship at the end, too. The world needs more people like that.

  • @antiaverage1 Indeed.

  • @antiaverage1 they are actually dicks in person

  • these are REALLY fun they are like my fave races... i always try and get into second place tho so right at the end i can overtake... but im still learning so...

  • is that "Barbedos Slim"????????

  • the trick is to have the 2nd place when the sprint starts. This way you can get into the first guy's slipstream and easily beat him in the last curve.

they can't put off sprinting for ever because the race is about 3laps and they can't go backwards.

  • Stunning observation.

  • What is the aim of this race? What does the guy in front have to do?

  • its basicly a sprint but the one in front is defending so the one behind doesnt take the lead

  • Comment removed

  • way to go, you announced on a video called Trackstand, that you think trackstands are stupid, and also that you know absolutely nothing about track racing

  • clever.

  • From what I understand it is to your advantage to trail than to lead. So trackstanding is key to forcing the other guy to take the lead. I can imagine this sort of thing could last indefinitely.

    Oh yeah... intelligent response, kukenimunnen.

  • Why is it a bigger advantage to trail?

  • you can draft your opponent until the last second where you pass them

  • They don't suck at trackstanding, they're in a very big gear, not some poncey messenger rizzla gear with a 10 inch handlebar. Different class. Post your trackstand.

    Up the Bikies.

  • these guys fucking suck at track stands. although i'm sure thats not what they practice primarily on their bikes

  • fuck it im foing

  • That was awesome

  • why they do this

  • In an effort to get their rival to take the lead so that they can then draft or slipstream behind, conserving energy for the final sprint.

  • Flegory, you are my favorite person on youtube.

  • Who is the green and blue uniform??

  • Thats funny...I didnt see a stoplight anywhere!! :P

  • your kidding right?

  • ya i think he is...

    wait..

    i dunno

    maybe he's just dumb

  • Thank you for posting this!
