There will *always* be natural and man-made events all over the world that release radioactive materials and spread globally. These often go unreported, and add up over time. Remember that the half-life of these materials, which are released into the atmosphere, are hundreds to thousands of years. I'd bet our rise in cancer rates since '86 (Chernobyl) are largely related. It's just not worth it.

@Punkbuster Sorry if i sound like "mr all knowing" but Watch Zeitgeist the movie, they got enough suggestions on how we could make energy or just search on the net. i just know there is better ways cause i have watched Zeitgeist and looked arround myself.
